hi there just want to give some tips, when you were done with the horse that you ride I noticed that someone else took off the bridle for you, now that is something you should do by yourself, it is not the stable grooms job to do it for you. I have been riding horses for 12 years and the first thing I was taught was how to tack up. It's pathetic that you can't take the bridle off, its fairly easy and you shouldn't have to pay someone to do it for you.

Not saying she's a BAD rider, but she's not a Hampton's Classic talented rider. Also, if the Hampton's Classic is the ONLY horse show she is showing in, then she cannot say she's a seasoned show rider just because she's shown there for four years. She is a tall woman and needs a TALL horse 16.1, 17 hands. She is too tall to ride a 15.1, 15.2 hand horse, which looks like what she's riding in this video. Her knees go past the flaps on the saddle which means she should lower her leathers some.

Being tall, that is a habit, but it need to be broken. She needs to release his face over the jump, and take up the reins between fences. She does the opposite.

Try to be quieter in the saddle. Lower your stirrups. Keep your hands soft and still. Don't grind your pelvis. Let the horse jump first, let the horse take you over the jump. You're not taking the horse over the jump. Head steady.

The good thing - clearly you love horses and wouldn't hurt a fly.

It is quite sad that this video was even made. I am very disgusted that the owner/trainer of this barn allowed Kelly to represent their place. She is terrible, and I think other youtubers covered why. She is only interested in the clothing and the supposed "eliteness" of the sport.

Anyways, we can only be thankful that the horse was immediately put into the groom's capable hands and hopefully has good a home outside of Kelly's antics.

My trainer wouldn't even give me a crop to move along my ancient school horse, let alone spurs. I was told I needed to learn how to use my leg or find a new sport. Her legs are awful, heels down.........Fix the length of your strirrups, stand up and sit down on your crotch. The one thing I kept seeing that stood out was that her toes are sticking out.

1. She needs to sit back, it that horse bucks then she is going straight over it's shoulder!

2. Relax her arms, they are painfully rigid which makes it uncomfortable for the horse.

3. Keep her lower leg still, she looks like she's playing football not riding a horse!

This is what I hate about this kind of stable - all money and looks and no actual training. It's about how you look in the nice professional picture over the fence and how much your new boots cost. Thank god that horse was a SAINT and didn't do anything to her. Her legs are so loose, what about a release, her back is all curved up and her arms are flying everywhere. Money can buy pretty clothes, but also lessons.
