I think Gerald Ford made the mistake by saying Iraq is communist. Actually Iraq was hanging communist in 1976. Iraq government was a semi nazi model nation

America sells weapons to whomever they like, and support.  However, when other countries try to do the same, they call it state terrorism. They are hypocrites.
