  • damn the first two batman movies(i know its a different director):

    -Batman

    -Batman Returns

really shit on Batman Forever. They didnt even show how Harvey became 2 face.

  • Thumbs up if you saw McDonalds in this movie!

  • The funny thing is is that schumacher's original intention was to make a darker version Batman. But the stupid assstudio executives wanted him to make it campy so it wasn't his fault. This is the same guy that directed The Lost Boys for fucks sake I can only imagined how it would have turned out without the studio's interference.

  • 1:47 troll face

  • Happy Birthday, Jim!!!!!

  • awsome jim carey is awsome

  • @onlyone23km Thank you! I thought I was the only one! I usually skip to the scenes with Two-face and Riddler. ;D

  • Dr Chase Meridian <3

  • @onlyone23km The catwoman in that Adam west movie was soo fucking hot.lol

  • am I the only one who LOVES this movie? well only the Riddler and Two-face relationship. i love them they are my fav villians.

  • @ObiwanSparrow I liked robin more, but the relationship they had was music to my eyes and ears! It was hilarious!

  • @ObiwanSparrow There were some really bad scenes that should've been taken out and some really good scenes that should've been added.

  • like if you're watching this in 2012!!!!

  • wow so many wrongs about this movie 1.) wasn't robin like 13-14 when he became the boy wonder instead they have him in his 20"s ? 2.) YOU CHANGE THE BATSUIT? and added nipples to the suit? its absurd what the idiot director & costume designer was thinking 3.) forget part 1 & 2 what happen to Vicky Vale? No searching for Selena Kyle ( even though it was hinted she was alive after pt 2 ) -- the only good was Kilmer wasnt a bad batman and i didnt mind Jim Carrey as The Riddler T.L.J was OK

  • @TheHenderson31 They told you what happened to Vicky Vale in Batman Returns

  • batman loser

    viva jim carrey

  • Val Kilmer. Amazing actor.

  • what the fuck was that smile at 1:46 ?!?!?=)))

  • was it necessary for the batman costume to have nipples in this movie?

  • @liltunechi4eva it was cold.

  • im a dark boy

  • "BABADA BADA BAA DA DA DA BA BADADA."

  • Comment removed

  • better than batman and robin no doubt but still a bad movie especially when you compare it with tim burton and christopher nolans batman films

  • Batman Forever actually did not suck that bad. Batman and Robin on the other hand.......A BAT CREDIT CARD!!! I'LL KILL YOU ALL!!!!!!!

  • This Batman wasnt very good,He almost got killed twice by two face.

  • Well, still better than the next one. I don't give a shit, Tommy Lee Jones was amazing. He just can't do bad.

  • @LadyStardustVertigo tommy lee jones is indeed amazing. especially as agent K and two-face

  • Nicole Kidman was so hot in this

  • Jim Carrey as the Riddler lol...he was awesome

  • wow, cant wait for this, who is playing joker in this one, he looks familier, bane will be in it i here!

  • @tom1980uk ????????? this movie is from the 90s

  • How could anyone allow someone to get away with this direction and this soundtrack. How? How?!

  • Will you shut up this movie is cool. Val Kilmer is WIN.

  • @onlyone23km Even the 1960s tv series?

  • @310hoods sorry for not responding. Yes, I loved the adam west batman.

  • @onlyone23km You're right on that lol. Do you watch the animated series and animated movies though? Begins was cool and dark night was alright. Can't wait to see bane in dkr though.

  • @310hoods Every incarnation of batman such as beyond and sinestro corps (even though I haven't read it yet) and the animated series have all been embraced by me. Even the new cartoons amaze me.

  • @310hoods but catwoman will fuck everything up.

  • i still like this moovie

  • A diferença de um

  • Jim Carrey does a great Riddler though

  • @onlyone23km Is kind of is....

  • @310hoods it's not the worst movie ever.

  • @onlyone23km Think straight about what?

  • @310hoods about the fact that this movie isn't as bad as you think.

  • I think this is the best Batman movie in my opinion.

  • @SSJ3TeenGohan201 Really?

  • @Thekingpac2014 its not that bad Batman and Robin is funny as hell to laugh at

  • @SSJ3TeenGohan201 I know it(Forever) was ok,as a kid i loved Batman&Robin it was cool and funny.Even though it sometimes made know sense.I watched Forever last night, and i must say that Kilmer did a good job,but was too stiff...........both Foever and Batman&Robin were great to see if you were interested in that version of Batman or as a kid..............but i still have B&R on VHS and its still funny and in some ways awesome, even if im a teen.

  • @Thekingpac2014 and now i own all of them 1989, returns, forever, robin, begins, and dark knight.

  • @SSJ3TeenGohan201 I'm missing the dark knight. did you like the schumacher films?

  • @onlyone23km yes i did Forever was awesome, and Batman and Robin was great

  • @SSJ3TeenGohan201 *My bad B&R made no sense but was fun and funny.

  • @onlyone23km Can you shut up and quit trying to troll.

  • @310hoods I ain't trolling, 'm just trying to make you think straight. Trolling is when you insult someone for liking what they like.

  • @onlyone23km I see what you did there lol I never watch Bambi :o

  • @310hoods have you seen high school musical 3?

  • @MisTTwisted Agreed

  • This movie is good i love it

  • I'm a HUGE fan of Batman, but this movie just sucks, it's like a comedy. just bad.

  • @MisTTwisted you must have suffered a brain relapse then because this movie is awesome!

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @MisTTwisted would you have rather had the rock play batman? cause if the answer is yes, then there is a problem.

  • i just never understood the whole crappy machine guns on the side of the car setup.

  • This movie was OK in my opinion, but the Tim Burton, and Christopher Nolan films are much better. Batman & Robin, the only way i can describe that is with the classical words: BULLSHIT.

  • Comment removed

  • My penis wears a mask too does it make it batman or robin o.o

  • Have to admit Jim Carrey made a good Riddler.

  • The Riddler is kinda weird

  • movie wast that great but the trailer was awsome

  • I actually like this movie. Bob Kane worked on it (just like he did in the first 1989 movie) and Forever represents perfectly the classic Batman comics from the '50-'60, where the settings are colourful and dark at the same time with supervillians who throw one-liners.

Anyway, this movie reminds me that Batman is a comic book character after all.

  • the concept of this movie is kind of good, sepite of how horrible it may actually be.

  • @chaos5copiesmartguy it's watchable....unlike another Batman movie,....

  • I never realized how horrible this movie was as a kid.

  • @310hoods aw, come on. It can't be as bad as bambi, can it?

  • music at 1:46 what is it?

  • i loved this movie and jim Carey as the riddler :p

  • @TheCODZoneHD Really? I did too, dawg. I liked CHris O'Donnell as Robin

  • What's the name of the actor who played some kind of crazy guy in the Batman movie. He got so deep into his role that he couldn't fall asleep afterwards because of his horrifying role -- later he died.

I heard this story from a few people. Who is the actor? What role did he play? And was it the Batman movie? I'm not 100% sure.

  • @23parkour23 Heath Ledger he played as the joker in Batman The Dark Knight

RIP Heath Ledger noone will ever play joker as good as Heath Ledger

  • @MrMindblow12 Thank you for taking your time to answer. That was very helpful!

  • @23parkour23 no problem

  • This movie was terrible

  • @QuietGuitaristfan are you kidding? It was EPIC.

  • 1:09 WOO!

  • Well weren't the Batman comic books written for...uh..ya know..kids!

  • This batman seems like more of the official one

  • This was the first Batman movie I saw as a child and I like it for three reasons.

    1. Two-Face was a badass, even if his personality was butchered by Joel, he was still awesome and is to this day, Second to None in my list of the best Batman villains.

    2. The Batmobile was just a beast of a badass car. Because it was just a badass car, the Riddler has earned my eternal ire for blowing it up.

    3. Chase was hot.

  • @cytorakdemon how old are you man?

  • batman forever

    sleeping beuity

    cinderella

    rambo

    superman RIP

    aladin

anyone ever watch these in ur child hood

  • @209BluntSmoker You forgot about Batman '89, especially the scene where Joker fries that mob boss with his hand buzzer, and adjusts his necktie while still talking to his smoking corpse.

  • @209BluntSmoker offcourse --' is the urge so big to get some 'thumbs up's?

  • i have had the urge to whatch the old batman movies hardcore lately

  • I like this movie. I like the actors, the story, Jim Carey, and Tommy Lee Jones are funny. And I accept Val Kilmer as Batman, just not as good as Micheal Keaton.

  • As much as I loved Burton's directing, this film was still great. Batman doesn't have to be grimdark to be good (although Batman & Robin was certainly a step too far).

  • This movie is just a kids movie... You cannot take it as serious material.

  • well at least he had no bat nipples i nthis one.

  • Batman Returns>Batman>Batman & Robin>Batman Forever.

    This movie was shite.

  • Absolute rubbish!!! it should have been made perfectly like Alien and Terminator....they didnt have an excuse.

Whats up with the over acting and shitty costumes?!

Plus their choice of actors to play batman over the years...Fuk me!!!

Christian Bale showed us the light!!!

  • I can't believe I used to like this shit as a kid... I was like 7 LOL!

  • @lildumbnigga lol I know!!!! i just got the whole collection as a present and I think I'll just re-gift it! lol

  • @lildumbnigga i did too it man it was the summer of 1995 i was 6 going on 7

  • Jim Carrey as The Riddler got on my nerves, but Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face was brilliant. I also liked Nicole Kidman's performance as Dr. Chase Meridian.

  • when i was like 5, i thought tommy lee jones was playing a cinematic custom version of Joker who uses a coin. as i grew older i realized he was two face. i was like WHAT THE FUCK!? how the hell is that two face??

  • OMFGGG ppl stop hating and complaining on the movie!!!! if your a TRUE Batman fan than you like all the movies no matter what even on other ppls opinions!!!! JEEZ -.- I think they did amazing!:D

  • I'm going to admit it, and I don't give a flying fuck what anyone says, so don't bother disagreeing. In my opinion, Val Kilmer was the best on screen Batman I've ever seen.

  • Really want to see a directors cut of Batman Forever some of the deleted scenes are really dark and violent these were what Joel Schumacher wanted to use but he wasn't allowed to because the studio was so desperate for a light hearted kiddies Batman movie O.K. fair enough I know Batman can be for kids aswell but they really shouldn't have made Mr Schumacher cannibalise his movie it would have been a lot better than the end result so for those fanboy haters of Schumachers Batman blame the studio

  • @antitroll890 no wonder some ppl hates kids, have to lighten the tone up for the wee-ones...

  • i like val as batman.

  • Despite the talent on offer, a complete mess.

  • What sucks so much about this batman is that two-face and riddler act exactly like the joker. Why not let Joker star twice in this movie? The two-face and riddler character are so alike. Laughing like idiots in every scene of the movie.

  • @yodajedimindtricks Batman Returns sucked ass. I laughed at the movie more than I said "That was cool."

  • i love batman but this one kills it

  • In my Honest opinion not just because hes the batman of this generation but because hes awesome... Christian Bale is the best batman in my opinion.

  • @alex29794 Christian Bale is not the Batman of this generation. If anyone deserves that title it's Kevin Conroy.

  • what a SHIT FILM

  • 1:48 stupid Batman grin

  • If you're a TRUE Batman fan you like ALL of the Batman movies.

  • @ReneeNme except for Batman & Robin, That movie is so awful and stupid that makes the Adam West series look like The Dark Knight

  • Comment removed

  • @DeepEye1994 they are both stupid as shit.

  • @usernameDOGS Who, the old serial of the '60 AND Batman&Robin?

If so, I disagree. At least in the 60s one there are no bat nipples and bat credit cards. The old series is a 'so bad it's so good', so don't take it too seriously.

Believe me, if it wasn't for the Adam West's series, Batman would never had a such impact in popular culture.

  • @DeepEye1994 nipples or not, batman and robin still looked like complete "faggots" on that show, you had batman dancing, horribal fight sequences, terrible dialog and acting, everything about it was stupid, plus batman and robin and batman forever was a throwback to the old adam west series.believe it or not people also say this film is "so bad its good",reality is they are both on the same level of terrible, tim burtons batman had a way bigger impact on pop culture.

  • @usernameDOGS Oh, so you know the 60s series just by watching some retarded videos like 'Batman on drougs' and related.

Watch the whole actual series before critizing.

Batman Forever is tollerable, but Batman&Robin is beyond stupidity(it was made ONLY FOR MONEY) it needs to be buried in the deepest butthole of hell.

    Bye.

P.S: Batman 60s is a CULT CLASSIC, but whatever you're not Bob Kane so why should I even consider you. Who the hell are you to tell me what Batman really is?

  • Comment removed

  • @DeepEye1994 LOL How defensive you got over a stupid show, what a nerd.the 60s show sucks along with this movie and batman and robin,go rage some more dork.

  • @usernameDOGS Ok, take a look to this and maybe you'll understand my point

    watch?v=Kd32ZddmwcM

  • @usernameDOGS all the batmans regardless of the title were epic.

  • 1:49 I don't care HOW bad a movie is, play this song durring the trailer, and i'll see it

  • The best Batman movie is BY FAR the original with Adam West and Burt Ward.

  • theeeeeress a graaayyyiinng towwwwwwerr alloong on the seaaaaaaa yoouuuu becaME MY POWER MY PLEASURE MY PAIN!!!! baybeeehhh...

  • Seriously....Jim has joker written all over him, yet he's never casted as him.

  • Joel Schumacker was the only enemy of Batman who managed to defeat it

  • Too bad not even Jim Carrey or Tommy Lee Jones can save this movie from a bad rating.

  • This movie will always be a classic to me. The characters, the music, the theatrics... this is the Batman i remember most as a child. Still know a lot of the dialogue lol

  • The Batmobile in this movie was flat out ridiculous..

The Batmobile in the Tim Burton movies was absolutely awesome, however the Tumbler from Batman Begins and TDK is my favorite. The Tumbler is flat out perfect.

  • @Ninety9Soulz There's a scene in Batman Returns where the center fin on the Batmobile divides into two fins. As the scene progresses the Batmobile hits a bump in the road and the fins boing all over the place. It looks like they are going to snap off. First time I noticed it I was wondering if Batman might have outsourced the manufacture of the Batmobile to Taiwan. lol

  • Yeah Jim Carrey's Riddler is too weird and his hair changes constantly and he gets to flamboyant, too me that's not the Riddler, I liked it when i was little, but seeing it now the movie is just ok!

  • @bmoviefanrude

The Classic version of the Riddler from back in his early days was extremely flamboyant. Riddler's been the most widely interpreted Batman villain over the years so it's almost impossible to really peg a true version of the Riddler.

  • @ScoTTishN1NJA Yea both The Riddler and Two-Face are not at all like the characters are supposed to be in this movie.

They are supposed to be serious villains not the Joker copys they where in this movie.

Bane and Mr Freeze also was not at all like how the characters are supposed to be like in Batman and Robin.

  • @CyberLance26

Looks like someone doesn't know their early history concerning the Riddler. Yeah Two-Face was way off but Riddler was extremely flamboyant in his early years, and that's the version they used.Two-Face was supposed to be dark, just see the escape from Arkham scene, but TLJ from interviews with Schumacher was hard to work with and wouldn't take direction. Hamming it up so he wouldn't be upstaged by Carrey. He couldn't be fired 'cause he had star power from his current Oscar win

  • @SLPIFan I Know that Riddler was silly in the early comics but i think they turned him into the serious villain he is today many years before this movie was made.

  • @CyberLance26

The thing to understand about Riddler is that he is one of the more malleable of Batman's rogues gallery concerning how he can be portrayed as every new version basically completely renovates the character. But he always seems to have an underly eccentricity. And yeah Carrey was pretty silly in places, but overall I think it was interesting that they took the classic version of the character and game him a more demented and slightly darker edge. All opinon of course.

  • @SLPIFan Im not saying that theres anything wrong with making tributes to the classics but because this was The Riddler very first appereance in a movie and the first thing the mainstream audience that dont care about comics was gonna see of him i think they should have used the current, darker and better version of the Riddler from the modern comics.

Yes people saw him in the old Batman show but that was ages ago even when this movie came out so Forever was the first Riddler for many people.

  • Comment removed

  • @CyberLance26

Better is a matter of taste. The 90's cartoon version of Riddler is still my favorite adaptation, but I still think Carrey's works just fine. 'Cause even though he had his goofiness he was still clearly psychotic and depraved. I think the real problem is Two-Face acting just like him. The original idea was to have a darker, brooding, and reserved Two-Face to be a cool contrast with the more electric and lively Riddler. An idea I think would've worked great had TLJ followed orders

  • @SLPIFan Yea the Riddler in Batman The Animated series is how he is in the comics and thats how he should have been in this movie in my opinion.

Yes they made Riddler insane like he is supposed to be but not in the way hes supposed to be psychotic.

Hes supposed to be obseesed with being the most intelligent man of them all and hate ignorance and stupid people and also be completely obsessed used in using Riddles to test peoples intelligence.

  • @SLPIFan Well its mostly like that he acts so crazy and silly in this movie that i dont like actually.

Yes i know he was kinda silly in his very early years but hes been the serious villain he is today for many years now.

They made both Riddler and Two-Face like Joker copys in this movie.

Also except for the Riddles he gave to Bruce that revealed that he was Edward Nygma he never used Riddles in his crimes and hes supposed to be obsessed in leaving Riddles to the police, Batman and others.

  • @CyberLance26

We're going to have to agree to disagree. For what he was I thought it was a fun performance.

  • @CyberLance26 My I throw in my 2 cents?

This is the only role in which I actually enjoy Jim Carrey. Yeah a bit silly, but he gives Riddler the psychotic, insane feel that he should. Yes he's supposed to be obsessed with riddles, but the movie didn't venture into Riddler's life outside of his relationship with Bruce, Batman, and Two-Face.

But I do agree that Two-Face was given too much of an insanity problem, while I've always seen Two-Face as a psychotic, while retaining lucidity through crime.

  • @ScoTTishN1NJA jim carry stolen the show

  • @ScoTTishN1NJA The riddler can be played in more way than one, are you saying that Caesers portrayal of the Joker in the 70's show was "too comedic" or "corny"? No, because that's how he played him, are you going to say Adam West's portrayal of Batman wasn't serious enough? Of course not, he was portraying him differently, so why the hell should it be any different for Jim Carrey playing the Riddler?

  • @ScoTTishN1NJA but he steels the show

  • @ScoTTishN1NJA

which is always a great thing

  • @ScoTTishN1NJA But Jim Carey was awesome so it's all good.

  • You gotta admit, this is better than Batman and Robin.

  • I actually like this film. Jim Carrey captured the Riddler perfectly, even if the story didn't enough. Besides Two Face's pimped out costume, everything about him was done wrong. It had flaws, but at the end of the day it was a good film. It didn't go overboard dark and brooding like Returns, or overboard bright and colorful like the film that shall not be named, but found a balance between. It wasn't a TDK but I still like it

  • If this movie had a serious tone from beginning to end then it would have been a good film.

Unfortunately though Schumacher fucked things up by stupidly having the villains as annoying, OTT, comedy characters and the acting from Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones was pretty bad.

The stories regarding Bruce/Batman and Dick/Robin were serious and pretty good, but when the silly villains came on screen it was like a different film was cutting in.

The film ended up looking like a mess.

  • this looks actually pretty dark and epic, I like it

  • Press 7 to put a smile on that face.

  • Robin probably had the greatest costume in superhero film history

  • Out of all of the first 5 batman movies this is my favorite but still i dont like how two face and riddler are protrayed not by the actors but the writing i dont remeber two face being a laughing manic madman and riddler they went a litle overboard in his silyness

  • i liked this film..its waaaay beter than batman and robin and val kilmer played a great batman.moody and stone faced like a true batman should be unlike george clooney who totally fked it up by been a joker

  • 240p we meet again.

this time, it's the last time....... muhaha!!

  • 152 disslikes...BUMMER.

Just one little touch, and 152 users are GULL FEED on the rocks below.

Not enough time to thumbs this up.

    WwhhhooooOOOooooOOOoooOOOooo....

  • @MAndersonReviews That was absolutley hilarious hahaha

  • I'm not sure why I find it so interesting that the trailer for both of Shumacher's films use none of the music heard in them. This trailer and Batman & Robin use music from the first two Batman movies. Then again since Joel Schumacher's gone on record apologizing for Batman & Robin I can't really blame him anymore.

  • @CdrChaos not true, this trailer has music from Forever.

  • @MephProduction Okay, but everything from around minute one onward are all either Batman or Batman Returns music numbers.

  • If Tim Burton did this with Val Kilmer it would have been I think more on par with the first two. Still, this one wasn't bad.

I just really hated the theme music.

  • no wa fucking shitty movie!!! BATMAN SMILING??!!! 1:48

  • Underrated Batman movie

  • @KingOfRock8887

    Criminally underrated Batman movie.

  • @SLPIFan I agree colorful sets and cinematogrophy, great action, thematicly deep, Batman well written and acted, Robin done well, great loveinterest, great Ridler, cool oneliners, great. Don`t wanna be pushy but although we have chatted a lot could you please comment on the lovestory and the series ratings cause I can understand you might not now what to say bu I am curious so could you try to, cause they are really imporant to me so also don`t ignore it cause I respect your views?????
