  • hi, would kids aged 12 or 13 beable to take part as a musketeer?

  • @iclepingu - members have to be 16 to go onto the field or to train to be musketeers. Younger kids can learn the basics though.

  • John Lilburne, great man!!

  • Republicans forward!!!!!HURAAAAA!!!!

  • is there any real age limit?

  • Well, you don't have to be young. We have roles more suitable for 'older' people and have lots of members in their 50s, even 60s. So age doesn't have to be a barrier to enjoying this great hobby.

  • So how would you go about joining up?

  • greetings from polish reenactors

  • thinkin of joinin the knotlooks fun, this vid helped me with my decision thanks

  • I wonder what makes reenacting Civil Wars very popular on both sides of the Atlantic.

  • It is a great hobby - exciting, sociable, interesting, challenging. People also like to keep in touch with their own nation's history. Taking part in re-enactments can't let us know what it was really like back then, but we at least get a sense of it and a better understanding of the causes of such conflicts and the human cost.
