For some reason many people who first see the official documents think that english longbows was the weapon that won the battle, but it has been proven that their bodkin arrow would break on french steel armor wich they had.
The longbowman assassinated the french who fell and were stuck or drowning because of the mud that would suck on their armor and prevent them from standing again.
