  • what is hilarious is tha loser murdoch paid $900 million to creat thi joke of a channel

  • And you too sir are biting the bait

  • Fox still showed the joke. They never put it forth as a real interview.

  • Fox "news" being dishonset?! I've heard it all now!

  • @lawnmandbg33 Fox's bias in that video is palpable, first, yes they can justify editing for time constraints, but can they justify the way they presented it? This isnt the first time Fox has edited (adding as well) footage to damage democratic standings. Judging from your response (angry in defeat) i imagine you watch Bill O Rielly quite a lot.

  • back off the mic

  • cocaine + prostitutes = BFF

  • the important thing is that cocaine and hookers are really fun things to do

  • ughh fox news is absolute shit

  • I want you to notice it says, "editing a Democrat to make him look worse." Demorcats already look horible, and when they open thier mouths like satan himself, but here they look even worse then that.

  • @MrTimkan7719 left v right paradigm. they all suck. RememberBuilding7org

  • @MrTimkan7719

    You're an idiot.

  • @MrTimkan7719 pfft ! Like republicans are any better.

  • XDDD Well darn. Totally thought they were gonna have a good lapse in judgment. But there was my bad to begin with.

  • I watch these videos because its a fun thing to do.

  • America is quite clearly no different to Iran..you are raped by propaganda and so many of you don't even realise..poor things

  • Man, i'm from Brazil so i don't know how things work in US, but here the right to have a Broadcast company is a public concession, so if something like that happens here the company simply loses the concession and it has to close its doors, simple like that !!

  • Wow, the guy narrating the video and the people on here spewing hate towards a news broadcast really should try to GET A LIFE! Do you even realize how pathetic this is?

I somehow doubt it, i mean seriously, you are PATHETIC and i feel sorry for you, what does your life consist of? Sitting somewhere in a dark room attacking a hews broadcast who edits a story? because ALL news is edited because of time constraints! Now you can all go back to masturbating to an Obama campaign flyer.......

  • @lawnmandbg33 Lol, troll much?

  • @lawnmandbg33 Ok, dude i work in Journalism, a lot of editing goes on because you don't want useless shit, or the "um" and "wells", but you don't take out whats vital, and that video was a gag, the joke lies in what we would call those "um"s and "well"s so to edit that out you are changing the meaning of the whole video, They were doing this to slight the guy not to cover a story, but then again when was the last time fox every TRULY covered a story...

  • @lawnmandbg33 What's a "hews broadcast"? Home schooling has it's limitations.

  • @lawnmandbg33 hews broadcast huh? say that ten times fast illiterate troll.

  • When I want to laugh, I search for 'Fox News' on youtube

  • @TradingTutor me too!! and im from india ... fox news looks really dumb and childish

  • @TradingTutor It's really true. I can spend hours just looking at these Faux news clips.. They're a great source of entertainment. It's really quite worrying though that a large number of Americans take this news network seriously.

  • wow is fox news this despite

  • "the gap between fox and everybody else is laughable"

You mean the gap between Fox and he other CABLE NEWS channels is ... Jon Steward out rates Fox. As do many other channels including the cartoon channel.

Which says more about the people that watch Cable News than anything relating to relative truths.

    Fear and balanced indeed.

  • hahaha fox news took the bait

  • Trolling at its finest!

  • They actually extracted footage from a COMEDY programme, proceeded to edit it and then displayed it as fact?

Jesus fucking Christ how does a News channel get away with that?

  • @baseballkid077 Nah, I know propaganda when I see it. Telling blatant lies time and time and time and time again, justifying them, excusing them, then completely changing your own positions once "the other guy" gets into power. It's hypocrisy at best, pure propaganda at worst. MSNBC has bias, CNN has bias, but their bias is, for the most part, sensational and lazy, where the story is more about the theatrics than the substance. FOX is just political hackery with a logo.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 go look at the ratings of fox news, cnn, and msnbc. those tell the whole story. (hint: fox news gets about 5 times as many viewers than cnn and msnbc combined)

  • @baseballkid077 The story of the abject stupidity of a very gullible population with the worst kind of confirmation bias

  • Comment removed

  • @RickZiis you're trying WAY too hard at attempting to sound smart.

  • @baseballkid077 Because if more people like hearing what they already believe, that makes it true, right? If 100 more people attend Klan meetings than school in the same month, does that make racism better than education? This "well, who gets better ratings" argument is bullshit.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 your analogy was one of the dumbest i've ever heard. and the ratings DO tell the whole story. u mad? the ratings race is absolutely dominated by fox news. the gap between fox and everybody else is laughable

  • @baseballkid077 So if more people watch it, that makes what it broadcasts true? I'm just trying to understand your logic here. So a biased piece on a particular issue is more true if more people watch it? Does that mean truth, science, and actual facts are dependent on Nielsen ratings? So FOX has higher ratings, but does that mean it's more accurate or that it's just more popular. Popular and correct are not joined at the hip.

  • 1) It's because FOX will do anything in their ability to make "the other side" look bad, no matter how small, insignificant, or petty it is.

    2) Because FOX, like many within the rest of the Republican party, can't take a joke. They immediately foam at the mouth at the "urgh, Democrat! Must smash!" and completely miss the joke.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 just to let you know fox news isn't the only biased station, yes they say they're "fair and balanced" but CNN says similar things, and MSNBC all those stations, don't watch just one station get all sides then make your decision otherwise you're just as dumb as anyone else.

  • @TheHippo00100 MSNBC has some bias, true. CNN is a joke in how desperate they get to try and stay relevant (crappy gimmick technology that makes them look worse). But FOX has proven time and time again, that they're just not news. They're a blatant, nothing slight about it, outright propagandist liars. They do things, they report things, they promote things, they flat out say things that no ACTUAL NEWS SOURCE would say. It's not even about their political leaning, its about lying.

  • Fox News most definitely did edit the video to try to make the Congressman look worse. However, as usual, Fox News is moronic in thinking that it's actually going to make the Congressman look worse because everyone knows The Colbert Report is a comedy show and isn't taken seriously. It just reaffirms how stupid Fox News people are in my opinion.

  • how is this news? i mean some pollie does that in australia his polls would increase cos we know he/she is joking

  • When the comedy, satire and parody used on comedy shows is reported (by the supposed mainstream news shows) as important information that will shaped America's future, we as thinking adults (and intelligent young people) must learn to differenciate between the two, and by some small hint of logic, know the difference. FOX is just in the business to make a buck off the American people, so are the comedy channels. And we all pay their salaries...

  • @91fatboy51 And yet... the comedy shows are the only ones willing to throw the bullshit flag at either party. They may do it gleefully at one side and regretfully at the other, but at least they do it. When was the last time you saw a news show actually compare what a politician says now to what he said 6 months ago? Or look for obvious inconsistencies without blatantly editing out the meaning? It's sad that news media has failed us to the extent that comedy is the last bastion of journalism

  • They left the first part in where Colbert clearly states that everything the Congressman was about to say was a joke, not to mention this is all taking place on the Colbert report. I hate Fox as much as the next guy, but seriously, you are trying too hard here. It was a joke when it was shown on Comedy Central, and just as much a joke on Fox. Also, I'm not entirely sure, but if they showed too much of the clip, it might have violated some Comedy Central copyright.

  • @PinkSupervisor4 tldr; you are looking way too hard into something that is clearly understood to be a joke. You are just as bad as Fox. Let the people think for themselves.

  • Epic xD

  • I thought that was a sweat stain at the beginning of the vid.

  • Props for making this video.

    Death to FOX

  • Fox and other major news networks are seriously whats wrong with america, they spend 15 minutes talking about Sarah Palins new haircur or a new nailpolish and they barely spend 15 seconds talking about pertinant information that actually effects Americans, not just people who make 6,7,8 figures. Come on America.....

  • I fear for the country when people actually watch FOX news as a source of information.

  • I cant believe ppl actually watch fox news in america. I can smell what they are up to from here on the other side of the planet

  • Reminds me of when michael moore made iraq look like a utopia of free and happy people in farenheit 9/11.

  • @Bot23 Or when he tried to make Cuba look like a medical nirvana in Sicko? Lols, Michael Moore is fat.

  • Yeah the creator of this video is none too bright. Does he really think that Fox was going to show ALL of that hesitation? That took forever. They only have so much time on the air. I have yet to meet a legitimately intelligent liberal. Sad but true.

  • @baseballkid077 So if you kept in the hesitation, you would see that he didn't really believe it was "for fun." If you take out the hesitation, does it still show that he didn't really believe it was "for fun?"

  • @rawrisluv It's a pretty obvious assumption that Fox asks you to make. It did take place on a comedy show, after all. (Though Colbert really shouldn't be considered comedy. It's not amusing in the slightest.)

  • @baseballkid077 Fox takes this clip and manipulates it. Plain and simple. And comedy isn't a "he is funny, or not funny" thing. Some will find it funny and some might not. That's how comedy works so to say he isn't considered comedy is your opinion and your opinion alone.

  • @rawrisluv Way to completely miss the point of my comment. Fox also doesn't have unlimited airtime. Ever consider that?

  • @baseballkid077 Your point was rambling upon rambling. Fox News is a 24/7 News Station. Colbert Report is a 30-minute show. To say Fox News doesn't have any "unlimited airtime" is incredibly dumb.

  • @rawrisluv They shortened it as a matter of convenience to the viewer. They jumped to the main parts of the interview. What's so wrong with that? Stop complaining. This is my last reply to you, I've wasted enough of my time. Go crazy.

  • @baseballkid077 When the original clips were shown, tell me, how were they at all newsworthy?

Fox news is just like a conservative Saudi Arabian brainwashing "news"channel.

  • @baseballkid077 What's wrong with it? Fox cut out the instructions, so it appeared as those were his own words and the anchor then pretended to be outright disgusted by it.

But I agree with you. Fox did shorten it for the convenience of their viewers, just not in the sense of cutting what's irrelevant, but rather leaving out the reality which the viewers don't want to see it. Positive or redeeming parts are edited out of liberal stories and negative parts are cut out of conservative stories.

  • @baseballkid077 And whenever cutting isn't enough enough, they'll replace some of the video with archived footage. For instance when they replace cheering crowds with glooming crowds and vice versa to make politicians come off exactly as popular as they want them.

  • @baseballkid077 The number of intelligent, well-informed liberals outnumbers the countless idiots to come from the far-right or even moderate right.

Case in point: Almost all the Republican debates thus far.

  • @superclaydude You're not even fooling yourself at this point. The only reason Obama got elected was because all of the misinformed, ignorant idiots who saw him speak for about 10 seconds total and thought he sounded convincing. All the black people went out to vote for him too, when they wouldn't have otherwise gone out to vote for a white democrat. I'm the furthest thing from a racist, btw. You know it's true. If you deny that you're wrong. Enjoy it while it lasts - it won't happen again.

  • You're a fucking idiot dude...

  • Even if he wasn't coached, I'd think that this guy has a good sense of humour.

  • typical fox news 101, report propaganda to reach the republicans ultimate agenda, ignore the facts~

  • Stephen is The King!

  • Fox took that interview seriously?

    (−_−;)

  • Fox News is shit!

  • Hey bro i really like you're shit. But sometimes it sounds like you are beatboxing keep the mic further away or something . Heil Maher

  • He'd make the perfect voice for one of those boring safety videos we all had to watch back in high school lol.

  • Wow your fucking bored.

  • As George Carlin says "I have no stake in this" but when you write "to make him look worse" you are implying that he already looks bad. This is true in the case of any politician but did you mean to imply that he is bad and Faux tried to make him look worse?

  • @goolies78 I think you're over analysing this. I'm sure he means "look worse" as in to "not look better" not that he now looks worse than his current state which is pretty bad.

  • Colbert is a genius, Faux news is a joke.

  • @awgriffey I see what you did there.

  • Oh my god, they really did take the bait! Stephen is a genius!

  • @Sugarhigh352

What do you mean by bait?

  • I would have watched the version that Fox News aired and probably laughed because I know that the Colbert Report is a comedy program... I think it's rather unfortunate that the Colbert Report holds more credibility than Fox News. Regardless, I watch both programs for the lulz.

  • FOX News is... THE LUPUS OF NEWS as Jon Stewart said!!!

  • FOX NEWS LIES

  • You have the most boring voice ever. No wonder youre on YouTube.

  • Fox news edits shit like rachel maddow so Im going to edit shit together too.

  • Comment removed

  • I'd be surprised if fox news decided not to edit that clip. It's yellow journalist gold!

  • I dont know if it did the democrat any harm but anybody in their right mind knows this is a piss take. Im surprised he even took part good on him good sport!

  • Even the Taliban admires fox news. Fox followers are like children of the corn, scary brainwashed individuals. Its a sect, a cult , I really believe the tabloids more.

  • Wtf did i just watch?

  • what the heck is fox news

  • @TheVenusAphrodite its not news

  • Ah fox news, trying to breed home patriots In a world where news stations try to preach a message that goes agains what our founding fathers men for this country.

  • Was that really funny>?

  • Fox theyre so funny. Americas extremist , most likely channel to breed hometerrorist , I watch da channel just for my amusement, to get a good laugh,at them so desperate to tarnish however does not share their point of view, they are the Taliban of america. this people dont smile, they smirk,

  • @xiul100 "smirk" and i though i was they only one seeing that in their faces.

  • damn your boring!

  • The Congressman didn't look too bright in the unedited version either. In either version it was clear it was a not very funny joke.

  • how sad is it that people can say negative things about foxnews when the likes of msnbc is on the air?? doesnt that pretty much say it all regarding their credibility?

  • @K131399 Yeh and because gang members in LA kill people, its ok for you to kill people? O and two wrongs make a right, don't they?

  • do the anti fox crowd realize how more and more ridiculous they look as time goes by? ignoring the fact that fox gets more liberal viewers than all the other networks get viewers combined is silly enough, but to keep up the laughable arguments about fox being an arm of the reps is almost sad. watch "the 5" at 5:00pm any weekday and tell me bob beckel isnt the best left wing pundit on tv. beckel would literally punch someone in the face on the air if he was demeaned for being a lefty lol

  • @K131399 I know Liberals that watch Fox News. They throw it on randomly, two or three times a day, just to remind themselves that this crazy level of spin and propaganda is going out every minute of every day. Also, it really is a masterclass in manipulation of facts, so its worth watching, just to learn a thing or two about how to communicate a message - particular if that message is not in line with reality.

  • @evilstormsam this might be too much for you but think of it this way; what is fox saying, why are they saying it, and why is the left so afraid of what they are saying?? or you could just do what the obama admin says and attack fox lol. and the fact that msnbc is on the air, and you and your critical thinking ilk can attack fox is hilarious. there's really nothing more to be said.

  • @K131399 Agreed. I've the theory that a good portion of their ratings come from just that.

  • the fact that fox news takes these baits and cant seperate jokes from politics is just fucking scary. I dont believe in politics anymore. We are screwd. More and more people are moving to the right and voting for nut cases. I believe we are screwd, all of us.

  • What the Hell is the Comedy Channel? Is it like Comedy Central?

  • @NJWells92 The comedy channel is the Australian version of Comedy Central.

  • Umm you do realize this was a joke? Fox news was not seriously suggesting these things...its called comedy...

  • Lol so what happened after did congressmen defend himself and call out fox???

  • Oh good Lord, liberals!! Fox news reported it as a joke also! They were'n't trying to report this as a scandalous, breaking-news story!! Get over yourselves! That's the best you can come up with of Fox News lies and deceit? Bahahahahaha!! Just proves that Fox is the best news source.

  • @lilaccrew2 .....try reuters. Or CNN. Fox news kinda glorifies everybody of the political right. Granted most of the media falls in love with a good deal of people on the political left, but two wrongs don't make a right. Seriously, journalistic objectivity is dead. That's why fox news is the highest watched news source, because they hold right wing subjectivity where everybody else tends to hold left wing subjectivity, but this difference doesn't make them any more credible a news source.

  • @SobolewskiKing First of all, thank you for being respectful. Second, I've listened/watched/read all of the new sources and I have to say that I see less bias on Fox News. I think the problem is that people are confusing a "talk show" (Hannity, Greta, Glenn Beck, etc.) with actual "news programs". Yes, the talk shows have bias and that's what their audiences want. But the news reporting is always fair, balanced, and accurate. And it includes details you won't find on the MSM.

  • @lilaccrew2 I would disagree. Fox news coverage of Occupy wall street in the last couple weeks has been lackluster in comparison to their very "passionate" coverage of the tea party protests.

  • @SobolewskiKing it still is nice to find a news source that doesn't bash everyone who you tend to agree with

  • @lilaccrew2 there's about 160 vids of bias. I fear it isn't the ''best they can come up with''

  • @fenix144 I wasn't talking about 'bias', I was talking about 'lies and deceit'. There is a huge difference. Wow! 160, huh? Golly gee! And how many of those, like this one, are subject to interpretation?

  • @nVei06 huh?

  • i would love to think that fox news in collaboration with the Colbert report staged the Colbert report purposely to obtain this clip as to have it on the news the following night. maybe a way to get back at democrats?????

  • Lol it's funny how obvious Colbert is about getting the first quote to be able to be taken out of context so easily

  • fox news sucks

  • @mrcardio9r everybody's entitled to their own opinion!

  • MSNBC does NOT consistently LIE / DISTORT facts to support an Agenda. ( In Foxes case an Ultra-Conservative agenda). MSNBC is NOT committing CONSUMER FRAUD claiming to be "Fair and balanced" / "we report you decide"! Fox so called "News" is the laughing stock of American Media period end of story. Fox News is a JOKE and there's a GOOD reason Fox News viewers are the most UNINFORMED by FAT vs. viewers of ANY other network!

  • @mrcardio9r "Hi. My NAME is mrcardio9r and I am CLEARLY smarter than EVERYBODY else on this page because I am EMPHASIZING my IMPORTANT dialogue by CAPITALIZING my WORDS. You should listen to ME and MY opinions because I am SUPERIOR to the rest of the COMMENTATORS." xD laughed so fuckin hard when I read your comment dude. This is your best rhetoric? Seriously? Time to move out of your mom's basement xD

  • Fox so called "News" is NOT a legitimate news source. 1.) Fair and balanced / We report You decide? LMFAO! It's called: "Consumer Fraud" 2.) They have and continue to LIE / DISTORT the FACTS to support their Ultra-Conservative agenda. Yes other networks will at times tend to lean "left / right" BUT they aren't flat out LYING / DISTORTING FACTS, committing "consumer fraud" and so on... Fox News should be pulled off the air ASAP.

  • @22MRMafia I feel the same way about MSNBC! Why does the media have to do that! I remember when I was younger it wasn't like that. Things have transpired for the worse if both sides don't find a way to do whats best for the people we're in big trouble! ( no problem about the spelling )

  • The problem is PURPOSEFULLY TELLING MISTRUTHS TO CREATE DRAMA!!! Jerry Springer should sue all these people for stealing his idea... I mean the news stations.. Colbert ROCKS!!!

  • I personally find this video funny! It was made to be humorous and should not be taken out of context! People shouldn't see things for what they aren't! I am somewhat of a conservative/independent. I am a redneck and live in the south! I am not a republican fanatic I see Botha sides and try to seduce for myself what is best for the people!

  • Y'all get on here and bash Fox news for being hypocritical and unbias? Name me one news channel that isn't! MSNBC edits news so it looks good for the liberals so does CNN! So who do you blame? Some channels are for conservatives some are for democrats. If a liberal doesn't like what the conservative channel is saying then don't watch it! That goes both ways!

  • @Magnumjustice1 yes but fox news does sooo much in such a major way, thats why its empthasied more, sorry about spelling

  • leave a comment on this webzone if you wanna pizza roll

  • Clutching at straws here no matter how you look at it.

  • Ridiculous. This was clearly meant to be a joke. Liberals just have no sense of humor. And they're so dumb they'll over look the simple fact that the Colbert Report is actually promoted on the station. Even O'reilly, who is known for going so far as avoiding mention of even an opponents name, so not to support them. Yet he actually plugs Colbert, Maher and Stewart on a weekly basis. This is bad judgement on your part.

  • @knowwaie Err, the point of the video is that Fox News does not pursue objectivity especially in the political arena, even going so far as to edit their source (in which this case is a comedy show) to pursue their agenda. Even if it was meant to be funny, it came off - it was meant to be funny in a self-serving way that's condescending towards an opposing political party.

  • Fox News criticizes Jon Stewart because he is on a comedy show and shouldn't be taken seriously, but then uses Colbert's clips on the same comedy network to inform its viewers? Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

  • wow are you kidding the news no matter it cnn fox who ever out for one thing the ad money thats it!

  • Awesome of Wexler to be so cool about that. Good sense of humor.

  • when I look for things, the "liberal viewer" fucking pirates what I'm looking for. stop it! you suck liberal viewer. you're not funny. you're not informative. you're not ground breaking. you suck balls. you SUCK BALLS liberal viewer! burn in hell, and let me watch what I want to watch... Fuck off, it's a comedy show, quit taking things so seriously. fuck off liberal viewer. fuck off!!!!

  • @a2r1v1i2s have you thought about getting help for your torettes?

  • @a2r1v1i2s Yeah fuck off cause he likes to be lied to.

  • @a2r1v1i2s I think you enjoy cocaine because it's a fun thing to do.

  • This is why irony and comedy timing is wasted on Fox News presenters. You need to get Sacha Baron Cohen or Chris Morris in disguise for an interview with Bill O'Reilly. It would be epic.

  • I enjoy cocaine because its a fun thing to do.

  • Is there a reason you are sweating the statue of liberty?

  • Stop projecting... also stop emulating Fox, NBC & CNN were bad enough.

  • YouTube recommended u 2 me. I'm glad 2 c someone with the stomach 2 go through these "news" broadcasts and critically examine them. I couldn't stand it, myself. Media literacy in this country has become illiteracy; people just swallow whole whatever garbage gets pawned off on them as facts. Thanks for doing this. I've subscribed & will post some of your videos in my blog & on facebook. Good work

  • The edit did not change the content, in-fact Cobert's unedited clip he sounded even more stupid....he was so stupid he had to be coached

  • @74259smith every one gets coached, if you look at bush he had to be coached immensly, and he still messed up haha

  • @74259smith The edit REALLY DID change the viewers interpretation of the segment. In fox's version it would seem as if the congressman really believed in what he said, more than in the unedited version. I can't see you denying that

  • @HanSomKan1 The edit doesn't change the viewers interpretation. They left in the important part at the beginning that let you know they were joking around.

  • @Brett9897 Editing out all the additional explanation, prompting, and hesitation changes how the clip is interpreted. It fooled the Fox news host apparently. And Fox reporting it in a serious manner obviously does even more to encourage misinterpretation.

  • The biggest problem in the world is people who lie. That creates an atmosphere where no one can trust anyone. There is nothing more important than exposing liars. When people who see the lies expose them there is at least more of a chance for those who are asleep and not noticing - to wake up. This Is MIND CONTROL (WHAT FOX IS DOING ) and must be EXPOSED.

  • I think it's a given that Fox News is a biased organisation - even it's viewers would know to some extent. I don't think it needs such blatant and obvious YouTube analysis. There are bigger problems in the world, over and above the stupidity of Fox News.

  • And just how did this make him look worse?

  • haha this has nothing to do with this really but I remember when Fox tried making the peaceful protests against Republican Scott Walker in Wisconsin look violent by showing clips from somewhere else. What they don't realize? We don't really have palm trees in Wisconsin. Just something to make Democrats look bad, as usual.

  • at least they didnt just have him saying "i enjoy cocaine because its a fun thing to do" personally i wouldnt want to watch the coaching and dont mind it was edited out. in this case, it is my opinion that fox news didnt edit the clip in a way that was bias but simply to shorten the joke to a more manageable length, due to the expectations i have come to have for fox news and their bias, i am very pleased they showed colbert setting the quote up rather than ONLY the scandalous claims

  • @Tux8o That's the comment i was looking for, or was going to add. They didn't change anything by shortening it to fit in a 30 second closing. Thumbs up.

  • @JoseJimeniz Although it made him make it look like he was a lot more serious and in the original you can see he's laughing fooling around which you see none of in fox news. If you saw the original it wouldn't change your opinion of him at all and perhaps it might increase because he was joking and seems like a positive guy. In fox news he is shown as being a moron and in a very negative. That's the difference.

  • @brockheinz i don't find the shortened version at all misleading. i think the uploader is being overly critical; looking for things to nit-pick about Fox. There's plenty of real things Fox News does that is wrong, this is a dead horse up the wrong tree.

  • @Tux8o You do realize that if
