Thank you for the warning, they are expensive and should last if they are not warn much . I have had this happen with other shoes. So many Items we buy now are expensive and fall apart fast, like Refrigerators, Vacume Cleaners, Electric Garden Equipment and in Clothing, I wont buy anything that has sewed in elastic, it wont last a season without stretching out. Elastic used to last a decade. The younger Generation does not know how thing used to last.
