I'll be willing to chalking it up to a bad reed. I know the man has credentials. I also saw the full unedited video on the TJEA (Texas Jazz Educators Association) website after I made my comment. He said he was going to work on the etudes the day before but a pipe in his bathroom broke and started spewing water everywhere. Didn't get around to running the etudes until midnight. So he was almost sightreading the music.
