This is what I believe: It's obvious that Mion likes Keiichi, but it seems to me that Keiichi is more interested in Rena. I read the manga and watched the anime, and he seemed to have a crush on her from the beginning of the series, which makes me feel sorry for Mion :(. I personally don't mind if he ends up with either, but if I had to choose, I would chose Mion because from I've seen, Rena would be more okay with Keiichi ending up with someone else than Mion.

Alright, I'm sick of reading all those comments about how "KeiRena sucks", so I'll just drop the bomb now. In the VN, since Onikakushi, the story was CLEARLY pro-KeiRena. Even under the effect of the Syndrome, Keiichi had been thinking over and over again about how he regretted not treasuring his relationship with Rena, and that he wanted to tell Rena that he loved her. Mion has a crush on him, yes, but Keiichi had always liked Rena, and Rena liked Keiichi too. Fullstop.

@LetsRideRulz the visual novel is enough proof, and Ryukishi07's own words. He intended KeiiMi from the begining but wanted to keep it subtle so it wouldn't interfere with the plot. But I can honestly say I ship both KeiiMi and KeiiRena, because in Watanagashi-hen, Keiichi sates a love for Rena, but sadly it wouldn't work out anyway because of the bloodshed. All other scenarios he's loved Mion. I can't deny I'm a hardcore KeiiMi fan, but there may be advances toward KeiiRena before their deaths.
