Look, I want to see the Isles here, as much as anyone, believe me! But to say this referendum on Aug. 1 isn't insidious is to totally ignore what a general obligation municipal bond is. If Wang would put up 100 million escrow, I'd have a lot easier time swallowing this and would enthusiastically vote yes.
Honestly, as of this moment, I believe that the Nassau County resident loses either way that they vote.
