Just got my Breitling Blackbird from my fiance as a wedding present...

I have to say that this watch is fantastic, perfect in every way

Its a big watch and does weigh alot however i am a 6ft 7in 118kg unit so is a pleasure to wear.

I have alot of other watches but have to say this is my favourite and will only be wearing his from now on,

I have a breitling hercules. I think the company itself is shit and its a shit watch. Try to get your watch fixed for something and you have to send it to breitling themselves either new york or dallas. You will be without your watch for 6 to 8 months minimum. Their movement is not in house they outsource that. Yes the watches look beutifull but the inside is just shit. I have a rolex 2 tone sub with the serti dial, and I have never had a problem. Rolex just have a few models but they perfect it

I could'nt disagree more. I have a Hercules as well and it has functioned flawlessly from day one. I`ve always thought Rolexes where for "Player" types and most of them look to gawdy. Breitling is a top notch company making watches for professional pilots.

Well its poor timekeeping for the money spent - i bought an Omega Seamaster with the new 2500 calibre, co-axial which is superb its been brilliant thus far and has gained a few seconds over couple of months - co-axial is the way forward so much that this year omega plan to use it in all their watches

I have a casio quartz with radio that beats any breitling hands down with accuracy. I'd never buy a quartz watch above £100 and my breitling chronomat is terrible time keeper

It is a known fact that Breitling has some of the most if not the most precise watches. They all go through swiss testings and cannot lose more than a few seconds a year or else they're thrown away or fixed.
