Very interesting. By coincidence I have a video I just made about a week ago which shows that this chattering is a danger signal. I wasn't watching when this happened but had my camera on record. Turns out it was a cat.
The audio didn't leave any new clues for me, the box didn't budge so no outside intruder encroachment. All I could come up with was something inside the nestbox.. maybe a snake?
Listened the second time and one of the parents was giving a constant alert chatter in the distance (pending danger).
