I used to think the pen tool was hella hard. I used it once and gave up until just yesterday!- I used it and was like, "There's nothing hard about this!" But then When I copied my outline I made with the pen tool and pasted it into another doc in Photoshop and I tried to print it, and it came out blank. I dont know what I did wrong but it made me really frustrated, considering I need to do this for my assignment. Any suggestions?

Very useful video. I got a small doubt.

The path created with the pen tool stays all the time?

I mean, you can hide it as you shown, save it and then said "I think I need that path again". Open the .PSD file and unhide it again?

Also, English is not my natural language, could you please type up this commands you said? I can only get Ctrl + Shift + H to hide the path or something

Note: You have to watch the video several times to understand that some of what's going on should not be followed, but is only there for the purposes of a quick demo of what's to follow. Clear and addressed several problems I have had using this tool. The one thing that

I learned is since this is a tangent oriented tool is to to put the tangent line on the curve and it should line up. I notice that it only allows you to export as AI and does use svg or some other generic format.

i'm not a fan of the whole alt/option clicking on an anchor point. with a smooth curve like this, you should have pan handles on both sides of each anchor point

great video, question, after showing stroke, fill, yada, yada, you just deleted somehow your example, and it went back to where it was before you showed how to fill, stroke. How did you get back to that point? also, I cant pick up my path sometimes and I click and it starts a new one. how do i continue the path after losing it?
