Traci has a beautiful photogenoc child that does amazing in pageants but is not taught that she is also very beautiful without makeup on and she is only young and shouldnt be focousing only on pageants hopefully she dosn't burn out when she is older

taralyn is going to be so successful in life. she is adorable but that is not what she should grow up focusing on. she shouldn't learn to use her beauty as an advantage and so far i can tell that she is growing up just focusing on that

Taralyn isn't growing up on "just beauty". Her parents are teaching her things, like being polite, loosing graciously, working hard at something she wants, respect. She's only 6.

@Splee331 Thanks Laura for your sweet comments & you are spot on. You are correct honey67589 as well. I am focusing on beauty...beauty from within that is. Taralyn is an extremely smart girl who is well mannered, respectful & knows that you do have to practice & work hard for your accomplishments. In her short time, she has also learned compassion & how to accept others with disabilities. Do I tell her she is beautiful? Absolutely, but she knows that I am referring to inner beauty.

Taralyn has also learned about sportsmanship & I emphasize a positive attitude approach. Pageants have taught her about performance, poise, grace, etc. but outer beauty is the least of our focus. Most of all, she puts God first & has such a loving sweet spirit that makes me so proud. There is no doubt in my mind that whatever she chooses to pursue in life she will be a success!
