  • I see nothing worth saving here.

  • Cars wear out

  • That van looked like it was still in decent shape. What the hell is wrong with people?

  • you people that cry about waste in these crusher vids are idiots! That van would have taken FAR more moey to fix than it was worth. The whole point of doing this is to RE-CYCLE them! Thats all most of these are worth! A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

    Economics 101, dip-shits.....

  • man i really wish i had a van and theyre crushing that one which apears 2 just be missin a few parts this sucks

  • sadly, people are prefering Ipods on wheels nowadays,, and Sadly too,, people pick cars based on Gas mileage.. used to be for style,, now its to save on gas!!

  • Cool video. Thanks for posting it. I work with students who have never seen this type of operation or what happens to derelect vehicles. It gave them a great opportunity.

    Thanks again

    Katog

  • thats what i do.. But i don't push the doors in when it's in the crusher.. will cause cracks on the crusher... we use a back stop

  • Thats what YOU DO? YOU run a junkyard? how do you sleep at night after destroying classic cars? dont you consider the history and all the people that would love to restor an old car.

Have you no remorse for some of the cars you destroy if they are old. I know destroying things is fun but, dont you respect the american made cars of the old days?

  • omg dude, are you serious? i would sell every classical car that came into my yard if people would pay me for them. you got 500 dollars per car to buy all mine, then they are all yours. auto recycling is an extremely important facet to steel recycling. if all the cars in america were saved and not recycled there wouldnt be a patch of green grass across the whole country.

  • I did not say all of them, i car less about most of the common cars from the mid seventys on, its the really early ones that I love especialy sports and muscle cars, also the giant boat cars from the fiftys and sixtys.

some are getting too rare to be stamping if you get my drift, if I had the money to do so I would save the classic cars, but money is tight now.

and its good to know that you would be willing to save a classic car, at least you are not without heart

  • @manga12 they ARE NOT GOING TO LAST FOREVER you idiot, so stop complaining about a ``classic car`` that is ``gonna make better`` get crushed to be used to build sumthin else instead of having an old piece of shit sittin around!!!!

  • They are better built then the new ones, more steel in them, and they are parts of our past, americana, remember you linage well, it was the best days of america as far as prosperity.

not all them are pieces of shit as you call them. The old cars were made in America not from parts all over the world, remember that and remember the art works they were when they cared more for then just function like the boxes of today.

  • poor car :)

  • cool but i dont understand the point of this

  • I posted it because I thought it was something a lot of people don't ever get to see -- a (hopefully interesting) view of what happens to the last bits of cars after all of the useable parts are off being used on other cars.

  • cool video was the van junk?

  • That's a job I wouldn't mind having.

Listening to the Ipod sending cars to die all day long.

    That would be cool

  • just like crushing a empty beer can to cool : )

  • cool cool

  • cool
