  • i got mine today an is the same size

  • awwwwww

  • num num num num num delecioso

  • bro what kind of lighting do you use for you baby beerdie ?

  • i remember my bearded dragon when he was that small he is lees that a year and he is massive they grow up so fast

  • it reminds me of my male named onyx when i first got him

  • i remember this (: now my guy is only 4 months but almost full grown.. i guess thats what u get for using all the right stuff and supplements

  • I've been keeping beardies for over 9 years now. So long as you use calci-sand (not really sand) they have never had an issue. Even as babies.....

The problem I've had with carpet and whatnot is that the poop ends up stinking up the place and its hard to keep clean. The calci-sand acts very much like cat litter and its just a simple matter of scooping up the dried up poop ^^

  • have the sand removed it could blind and/or choke your beardy

  • that's a sweet bearded dragon I will be getting a beardy soon I can't wait

  • my beardie has red stripes too but not as dark is it an sandfire to?

  • Try giving it a bath! Then let him bask and then try feeding him!

  • that cricket was to big IMO

  • This guy is in his perfect enclosure, IN THE WILD, Bearded Dragons vary from living in full sand, to dried clay, to slate rock and dirt, and grasslands. This is pretty close to nature because he has sand, and pieces of rock where he can climb to get out of the sand. Now if I seen a tank that was full of sand and nothing else, there would be a problem. Also don't put his food bowls/water bowls on the sand, put them on a piece of flat rock or tile so they have no chance of getting sand in them.

  • so cool i migh get one for christmas. i hope i do :}

  • That cricket should be proud that it was that Beardie's first :)

  • Born to be a pro :)

  • he has such a big head lol so cute or it could be the camera but steal verry cute

  • aww they're so cute with their big heads lol

  • Good boyyy! he wants moreeee

  • hes a killing machine !!!!

  • They sell some at petstores that are smaller than those. Its getting ridiculous now on how petstores are selling reptiles so young. Its risking their death chance way to much at such a young age like that.

  • AAAAW its identicall to mine lol !!

  • so adorable!! :D

  • how long did it take for him to eat chrickets when you got him?? cuz ushually when you get anytime of pet it takes them a whie to eat.

  • Aww so cute :)

  • chomp chomp chomp

  • i thinkt hat crickets is a little to big but hes cute so meh

  • it's hard to find live food of the right size for young lizards....My lizard Jack often has to eat a little to big crickets...

  • yea i found out my beardy likes the big ones :\ it takes him like 5-10 seconds to swallow but yea he always goes for em when im about to put em in his cage and blah hes eating his beggies alot more now even though hes a baby :) yet he likes his amouth of crickets

  • aww its sooo tinyy and cutee

  • raped!

  • you fucking fag

  • HAHA, I remember when my BD had a huge ass head like that!

  • thats fucking gangster

  • they can live in sandy areas but they get impaction i live in australia and WA wearever u find a beardie u dont usualy find sand u normally find dried riverbed i found a beardie runing around in the sane once but there was a but a few metres away and it was just catching some ants it saw on the dune.

    up north there everywere

  • Generally reptiles are shy and stay away from humans. Beardies are known for their calmer nature, but its in any animal to run away from predators.

They have the anatomy to live and ingest small amounts of dirt and sand. SMALL AMOUNTS!

  • @katiecarr19 well said! my little bastard decided he was gonna prove how tough he was to his sister and scooped up a whole lotta sand n ate it today!... n i mean a whole mouthful!.... little turd!

We'll see how he goes over the next few days!

  • @skittlepower95 know what ur talking about but it also depends on what kind of bearded dragon you have the inland bearded dragon is far less likely to get impaction while the coastal or Eastern beaded dragon is very likely to get impaction its very easy to tell them apart the inlad has a pink mouth and the coastal has a yellow mouth

  • @crimsom757575 theres no real inland or coastal beardy there everywhere but in reality u dont find them is the centre of AUS to dry

  • @skittlepower95 yes there is look it up man you got a computer

  • they dont live in sany ereas in the wild

  • Yes, infact they do. They live in Australia, which is FULL of deser areas. True that some of them do live in woodland, or more rocky areas, but a large number of them do live in very sandy areas.

  • @katiecarr19 nope mostly on dry clay riverbeds

  • @katiecarr19 Infact they don't I live in South Australia you will always find they they choose dry hard soil ie river beds rocky plains etc over open sand

  • @katiecarr19 no they don't. google australian desert and you wont see any sand. its dry lake beds.

  • australia is the most arid continent on the earth. yah, they do.

  • @skittlepower95 Yes they do, theyre native to the Australian Outback. Lots of dirt and sand there mate.

  • awesome dragon i feed mine crickets but not that big cause i keep the bigger ones and they have babys so yea i have like 100 adult crickets and 1500 smaller and like 400 medium when the mediums become bigger and the smaller become larger im ganna start feeding it adults

  • yummmmmmmmmmmyyyyy!!!!!

  • coconut fibre can still cause serious bloackages in any size bearded dragon. sand is reccomended for adults, as the grains are much much smaller, and they live in sandy areas in the wild.

babies should still only be on carpet or plain newsprint/paper towel.

it is a pet, so maintenance is still required daily. the carpet should be wash at least once a week, and all poops taken out asap

  • hes like "gimme another"

  • owned. =p 5*

  • num num num num num lol i love how cute they are

  • quality!!! i loved the moment when my sandfire yammed its first crickets when i got him home...... sharp and alert and did'nt miss one strike with that fat little tongue.

  • cute hey is urs a sandfire

  • is that sand or tile????

if its sand dont feed him in there!!! he'll get impactation!

change it to simple liner or tile

    cute dragon :)

  • Its reptile carpet, I know how to look after my beardies.

  • Is it a sandfire? Or a regular?

  • sandfire red x sandfire gold / super orange german giant x blood

  • it has a big head lol xD

  • WEOOW thats a nice color!!! can i get these kinds in canada????

  • Yup, I got him from a breeder in Toronto.

  • omfg it is soooo awsome man that is sickk!!! how much did u get it for and how much would one cost im getting one soon i just bought the tank yesterday:D:D

  • i bought him for $75 dollars at a reptile show, which was a total steal.

i'll post recent videos, his colour has really come out.

    how big is your tank?

  • awsome:D im so excited to get one:P and its 50 gallon:D i got it for only 129 cause im good freinds with the shop owner!if he or she ever has babies msg me ill buy one in a heartbeat!

    how bigs your tank?

  • i'm planning on breeding in the near future, but both dragons i have are male. i'm looking for a female.

my tank for my adult male is 4 feet by 2 feet (the height doesnt matter) and the baby is in three quaters of a 40 gallon terrarium.

  • thats awsome!

p0ost some vids of it eating :D

  • okay lol

  • i got a 50 gallon tank and all the supplies and my beardie for 20% off cause we know the people kinda, my beardie is tiiiight

  • Nice beardie, i remember when mines was tht size they are soo cute but when they get to an adult tht goes out the window! lol

  • i know, and its crazy how fast they grow.

i'll post a new video of him sometime this week, he's grown like crazy in just a few months.

  • nice

  • May be it was just the angle of the camera no offence : )

  • I can see how you would see that, it looks bigger until its in his mouth lol.

I'm paranoid, he only gets little pin heads.

  • That cricket is far too big for that baby Beardie!! The cricket should be no bigger than the width of their eyes.

  • It was smaller than the width of his eyes, trust me.

    I look after my lizards.

  • badass beardie. reminds me a of lizahd pirate
