This dude is alive and well according to the Ghost Rider who did a tribute on this run but he did it during the night. The Black Prince gained instant legend status at the time they aired this in the French news. The French police was quite upset when they saw the footage and dared him to do it again. The Black Prince went underground and no one has heard of him since.

Disagree with the previous comment. On the track you're in a controlled environment, the chicanes are not moving objects like they are on the road. Could be a cultural difference, in Europe bikers tend to filter, much less so in the states. Which might explain your hostility.

If that car had changed lanes I would have been crushed between the car and the truck. If the truck had changed lanes my only escape would have been between the car and the white line at the side of the road that would've been really tight.

Oh man the single most important thing is when a driver dozes and forgets to use his blinkers when changing lanes. Then I do not have much time to react and things get really tight. Lots of drivers on the Pereferique doze and forget to use their blinkers. On a bike you can't get out of those situations with brakes, you have to give it some gas, accelerate faster than a car can.
