Everyone here will never see the hard soil like Vojvodina's, this tractor is very good, but in Vojvodina he is dead with that plough...2 hads smaller, maybe!!!
@gentleman09111986 ive seen dirt so hard that a deep chisle just drags on top, finally got it to drop in and the cat 95E pulled it just fine, great machine, just an incredibly hard crust on top
the next time we plough i will make a vid of it, we use are jd 8760 with a 6 bottom 6 top, and we plough about 15 inches or so and we broke the plough in half lol last time
I never sait that you should use a Cat???? All I said was that you are an environmental fool and when diesel rises in US you will stop being aggressive.
I use a 8530r to pull a 12 furrow Kverneland plough!
I was saying, why would I use are biggest tractor our ch85 to pull a small plow? when a 8760 to you is way to big? and by the way are ground i so hard that if you deep rip it with a d8t with a single shank 5 feet deep it will stop the whole cat so if I use a small front steer tractor witch we have tried they dont even move, and and environmental fool? let me guess you drive a prius to??
Great job and great Video! We still have our Challengers and our flip furrow plows but dont do but 1200 acres with them now as we are transitioning into more no-till acres. I still love using them! I hate Chiseling!
You always leave what is called 'headland' at the ends of the field. This is plowed/worked last. That way you are not compacting or damaging work you have already done. A really good ploughman will make his last pass around and pull the plows just as he comes on to the road access, leaving the field completely worked, but without any tire tracks.
You should try and drive straight in a field that is 2 miles long. you can't see the other end of the field also hills. and this thing called driver fatigue. no matter how good you think you are, you can't drive that straight. we can also hire people with less skill and pay them less and increase our net profits also i take naps on the way up and back it alerts me at the end of the pass

I have a friend who does custom farming. He and his brother both own the buisness. He runs a JD 9630T. His brother is soon trading off his cat on another 9630T because it pulls better than the cat, his words. BTW these guys fumigate about 25000 acres in the fall, and row treat about 17000 acres in the spring. Think they know what tractors last the best.
well there in a different league cos they have 4 tracks insted of 2 they also have stoped making them and there not very good because the run son stocks AG tracks with no auto tentioning system so when the tracks get hot they fall off ! If i was him i woulg get a quadtrac !
all u people saying his ploughing is not straight it dosent matter he wanted to do that ploughing in the most efficiant time so save money on his fuel costs to make the crop money maker. anyone woudd think he is in a ploughing match !!
Are you driving a cat no didnt think so besides I have seen your video I can make straighter rows with a 6615 deere and no till 8 row planter than you can plowing
Your just jealous you dont have a cat id take a cat over a deere anyday bottom line dont be braggin its pointless let him drive straight you do your straight shit ile run mine and when the general public drives by they can see how straight they are agree or disagree
hey man i live in North Carolina the biggest field we tend is 70 acres and it damn sure aint level and to make it worse most of the time you have a hill down to a valley up to another sand hill the bottom is so muddy you spin in it and the sand hills are so dry you cant see because of the dust. Btw my bossman want use GPS its a waist of time around here because we have so many different fields to chart in 2 or 3 weeks when we start picking wheat ile video me planting beans to show you our fields
Nice to see a straight furrow for a change like it was years ago.

The world record for ploughing was set by the Case IH STX500 with a 20 furrow plough. 321.17 ha in 24 hours or 13.375ha/hour.
It averaged 4.485 minutes/hectare

@thefarminkid8760 You use an old 300HP to pull a lousy 6 furrow plow?
Hope dieselprices reaches 8$a gallon in US soon as it is in Europe:

these birds are sea gulls;they like to eat the earthworms that emerge from the soil when the farmers pass with the plough!

quadtracks are good, no doubt. But for row treating for potatoes you just can't beat the turning functionality of a conventional twin track unit.

Just use a one-way plow and go around the strike like we do here in the States. Then you could pull 12 to 16 bottoms.
