I don't know either of you but I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know whether your religious or not, but I believe that its worthwhile that we at least get to know such wonderful people while they're still with us. Suicide is heartbreaking and difficult to understand... I can't think of anything else to say. We always love them though, that never changes. Thank you for the vid and for being you.

I really like your improvisation. Do you think the hormones have affected your playing in any way? Some think testosterone can help in playing and composing music. Although testosterone affects things most when the brain is developing(as a fetus and as a child/adolescent) as hormones actually change brain structure during development.

Actually, I do think hormones have helped me in learning piano quite a bit. Mainly because I'm much happier, feel far more inspired, and am now better in tune with my emotions. However, in testosterone's defense... I started playing piano 5 months ago, yet I have been on hormones for 7. So, there is little to compare results against.

Although, my guitar playing has progressed nicely too since I began hormones. =)

Sorry to hear about your friend. Sometimes even your closest friends carry dark torment that tears at their soul until they feel that they can't go on. It sucks to no end that she did not confide in you. It is much harder to go on living than it is to give up. The loss of hope can be devastating.

Elle committed suicide, and gave no warning at all. I spoke with her three times that day, and had even made plans to come to her house. It's hard to believe that my very best friend could hide such a secret from me.

She absolutely broke my heart.

Corsett training means sleeping with a corsett I assume? Just wondering. I have been charting also and wonder when it will be time to up my dosages.

Yes, I sleep in corsets every night, and wear them for many hours of the day =)

I do maintain an exercise program as well as a balanced diet, and have for the last 7 years. I actually use to body build, which is the reason why I am still so muscular. However, I am constantly losing muscle due to the hormones and testosterone blocker, which is why I've had the dramatic decrease in weight. I'm hoping things will begin to even back out pretty soon.

Thank you so much for your flattering compliment =) The composer for Final Fantasy, Nobuo Uematsu, was my inspiration to begin piano. However, I cannot read music, so I learned how to play by listening to his works... and in turn, my style now reflects his. I started playing 4 months ago, and anticipate to soon move towards different composers in hopes of breaking away from this style for a bit.

Hahaha, get a piano then! I can tell you a few techniques I figured out to grasp the concepts very quickly. It's actually a relatively simple instrument. I plan on getting training in a few months, and hopefully some guidance on reading music.
