  • 70-33 take that clemson!

  • The greatest stadium in American football history. Palm trees behind the endzone...only one place.

  • It didn't just have memories for football it had memories for soccer as well friendly Games and type I used to live like 1 block away from it and I still dont understand y they destroy it and made it marlins stadium that was just stupid it was good for the dolphins

  • I remember all of the beautiful halftime shows they put on during the Orange Bowl Game on New Years Day, night. It was always the last one on New Years Day.

  • Im not even a Miami fan but that was fucked up what they did with all that history behing that stadium. They could have tryed harder...smdh

  • Loved and always will the OB.Wanted to have my ashes put there but oh well?Saw 01 washington game there 65-7!98 ucla canes make up game 12-05-98 49-45 us.Edgerrin had 299 yrds rshing.Arz st. Vs Canes 9-13-97.First game for R Wayne,S moss,D Morgan,E reed,,N davenport, ect.

  • wow i could just remember my first time i had gone to the orange bowl i would climb those stairs and see the whole stadium open up and when i was on my seat i couldnt wait till i grew up so i can get down there and play with one of the big players and now my dreams are lost thanks to a crappy baseball field

  • I quote 9:54 "The Orange Bowl stadium is now a pile of rubble and dust but in my heart, it's gonna stay there forever".

  • Why did they tear it down?

  • @7sadbeeyotsh7 The Marlins are going to have a new stadium there in 2012

  • I was too young to come to a Dolphins game in the OB but I have had my share of UM games here and this stadium was full of passion and tradition. I am a DIE HARD DOLFAN and I would give my left leg to see my team play in the Orange Bowl just one time. The energy from the Fans, when you stomp your feet and create that roar. There is nothing that can replace that. The Orange Bowl will always have a place in my heart. GREAT VIDEO!!!

  • they should have taken down dolphin/landshark/sunlife/whaterver they'll call it next week stadium

  • @ComedyHomeVideos lmfao, its so true too

  • I cried

  • I never went to a game there. I am not a big canes fan, or a dolphins fan. If Miami was to disappear, i could really care less. But in those 10:21 I felt something that I have never felt before. It felt like i was apart of something. Like something was being taken away from me and i would never see it again. Miami will never be the same. The new marlins Stadium wont even add up, and i will make sure I never go to a marlins game, just remember this wonderful stadium that made me overcome a hate.

  • Awesome!!! Great memories!!! What a pitty that Miami-Dade county tore it down. A classic that the community would have not mind if their tax dollars (a percentage) kept this memory filled structure around. The Marlin stadium ... total bulls#$@ ... and how much has it cost the tax payers ... a fortune. Wrong decision by the local politicians and money hungry investors. I am so sadden ... Though memories will continue on.

  • I love My CANES I still can't believe the Orange Bowl is gone for the Florida Marlins yes that team has won 2 World Series but cmon that building meant more to the city of Miami than what the Marlins will ever mean

  • ALWAYS GET CHILLS WHENEVER I THINK OF THE OB..ALL THE MEMORIES IV HAD IN THAT STADIUM..SO SAD THAT THEY TORE IT DOWN I HAD TO TAKE SOMETHING..EVEN THO IT WASENT PART OF THE STAIUM IT WAS HISTORY..TOOK THE "NOW PARKING DURING ORANGE BOWL EVENTS" SIGN ON THE STREETS

  • I spent close to 30 years going to the Orange Bowl. I was born during a Dolphins game at the Orange Bowl. It's truly a tragedy that the OB is nothing but memories now. I never missed a game until 1999 when I left Miami to enlist. I still made it home several times a year just to go to games. Fantastic video, really brings back some memories. If you really loved that building, you can't help but get choked up.

  • im 15 years old and i have been going to canes games in the OB since i was 2 pro player just isnt the same. I will never forget this stadium because i watched my first football games here and they were by far my best ones R.I.P. OB

  • i live in canada n i was never able to make it down for a canes game at the OB, but i miss the hell out of that place n the intimidation factor it had for the []_[] do any of y'all even care about the marlins n the fkn stadium they had to build over the OB??

  • i loved how the main entrence/exit everybody was so tightly squeezed wen exiting the stadium no matter what the outcome of the game was win or lose we would always chant ITS GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE / WE GOT SOME CANES UP IN HERE..the atmosphere of that stadium was the best..no other stadium can match up to it..so many memories..tobad it had to go out so bad in a horrible lose to virginia..worst game i ever went to but i will never regret going to that game

  • I miss that dump!

  • i remember walking in and smelling that one and only Orange Bowl "smell" i miss walking to our season ticket seats... right infront of the visitor locker room. i miss seeing it overflowing with fans against F.S.U.... i miss getting cookies from Mrs.sebastian. I miss just the atmosphere of the O.B. RIP

  • RIP ORANGE BOWL!

  • whats the name of this song?

  • WOW.....This Video Made WATER COME OUT OF MY EYES!! I Remember Sittin In That BEAUTIFUL Stadium I LIVE 4 Houses From Where The O.B Once Stood.......I Grew Up With The O.B and The Mia Hurricanes.....It's Like A Piece Of My Life Was TOOKIN!.....R.I.P O.B

  • Im not even that big of a football fan O.o..

    But thats sad

  • even the name, "the Orange Bowl", is cool !!

  • sad sight, i remember when everyone was stealing seats the last game. r.i.p ob

  • Been a fin fan since 1977.

    Unfortunately never visited the OB...

I have great memories of the place.

Team has never been the same since they left.

  • Been a Dolphin fan since 1977.

Never had a chance to visit the OB.

Team has never been the same since they left.

Best memory was the MNF win in 1981 vs. the Eagles. Shula nuts on the sideline. Strock to Duriel Harris for winning TD.

    Lots of great noise.

  • What a wonderful movie. Had the honor of being there often as a kid in the 50s and 60s.High school games at Coral Gables ,plus Dolphin games. The best of the best.Think Gables still has high school record for highest attendence non championship game there against miami high, GABLES WON

  • RIP OB

  • r.i.p

  • As much as I want the old stadiums preserved, it was time to let it go. The OB was doomed once Joe Robbie Stadium was built for the Dolphins. But I will always remember "T.O. goes for 2" in 84 and the signature sign, "The City of Miami welcomes you to the Orange Bowl" Thank you, city of Miami!

  • I seriously got choked up watching that. How a city and a school could allow a building like that to be torn down absolutely boggles me.

The OB was arguably the most historically significant football stadium in the country. And to add insult to injury, the Canes moved to cookie-cutter dolphin stadium. Jim Mandich said it best...it is a travesty. A travesty that a city and school would allow this to happen. You just don't do that, you don't destroy history like that, no matter the cost.

  • @eranger1 I know. What's the wrecking ball going to take next, The Rose Bowl? Lambeau Field? Seems like history only matters if it's downright ancient. They may not tear down the Pyramids of Giza, but everything else is fair game.

  • @eranger1

Unfortunatly money talks and romance is gone from sports. What a tragedy. Great stadium!

  • Aaron Pryor vs. Alexis Arguello.

  • Bittersweet video. Miami High home field for many years. Hurricanes. Dolphins. Those of us who couldn't travel - that's where we went to celebrate the perfect season. Good times.

  • I am 31 years old and have been in that stadium since I was 7...never missed a game...I hold the University and the City responsible for this - and will never forgive them. Dolphin Stadium is miserable...Canes will never be the same - this was THEIR home.

  • I first heard of this epic stadium through the PS2 game Driver 3 - one of the drivable cities is Miami. And within it, was a fully virtual recreation of the Orange Bowl. I used to go into this place on that game all the time, thinking "god... I really, really want my band to play here... one day, one day"

I damn nearly cried when I read it had been demolished a year or so after the game came out =[

  • My Childhood; My hopes and Psyche; Never to be Forgotten!

  • That was so sad I am going to miss the Orange Bowl!

  • I almost shed tears watching that and I'm not even a fan of Miami sports

  • man we need that stadium again dolphin stadium just isnt workin out

  • hell yea i almost got kicked out of the fsu game. that would have never happened in the OB
