Because at the time they were new, they were extremely expensive and at first not even sold but exclusive for USA; nowadays the F-15 is a fourth generation plane, which is deprecated by today's standards; a modern plane is of the fifth generation, like the F-22 and F-35.

This girl must be pretty small, I had a chance at an airshow to sit in one with the top down and it was tight. And I'm only 6' tall and about 220. Couldnt imagen once you get the g suit on how much more cramped it would be.

Actully I don't like F-22 it seems ugly for me..Ok it has new technology but not newest and it is only stealth when missile doors are not open..If missile doors are open radar can catch it very easily and also it doesn't have full thrust vectoring technology it has just vertical thrust and single unit costs $159.9 million which is very expensive....But I like F-22 bubble canopy it's like F-16 :)

thats true, but the F-35 cockpit is much more technical than F-16, F-35 has touchscreen cockpit and more glass stuff than F-16, but how's the F-22 cockpit? if you know a little bit

the F-22 is a glass cockpit but not touch screen and there is a reason behind that. what happens if one of ur screen's fail. the F-35 ur screwed and it doesn't have much inside of it to back you up but the F-22 has the needed switch's if somthing goes wrong but the F-35 isn't like that. the F-35 is a good aircraft if nothing goes wrong inside the cockpit. i pretty much know what every single cockpit in the U.S. inventory is like because i know the pilots and they let me sit in them.
