I should also add, most car salesmen are just the middle men for the sales managers. Sales managers decide how much they want to charge. Naturally they ask for all of it at first, because when you take it off, you can't put it back on as easy. The sales rep is just an ambassador for both the manager and customer. Ppl used to ask me this all the time, and each time I had to explain we could work something out, but it's not up to me.

I worked for a dealership that is definetly one of a kind if you are looking for a new car check out Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg Idaho they sold 12300 cars last year and only made 800 off the deal... I geuss you can afford to lose your a** on a deal if you reap a benefit from the manufacturer huh?
