Wow, so many errors by Kanjorski. The Fed has to way to notice a drawdown of money market accounts. The Treasury has no "window" to pump $105 billion into the system. The Fed or Treasury cannot decide to "close down the money account"
They cannot, without a vote in Congress, decide to announce a $250,000 guarantee for accounts. There couldn't have been a drawdown of $5.5 trillion by 2 o'clock, the money market accounts didn't have that much money in them.
If only they HAD let it collapse. "The system" isn't doing us any good anyway. Let's scrap it and try again. Something a little less corrupt and a little more real.
