  • Atticus<3

  • get in my pants, atticus.

  • A case like this happened not to long ago, a young girl, about 14 clamied her dad raped her and without any evidence him and his wife did 4 years until that girl turned 18 and confessed to lying about being raped, the judge, the jury, and the court made fools of themselves she got away with it and two inncoent people lost 4 year of life.

  • How the hell could he be found guilty after this? Ignorant racists *shakes head*

  • @antihero276 Racism and pressure by the people of the county to sent the man to prison was common back in the days. In the book, it stated no matter what, they just couldn't send him back home. A white man can never be beaten by black. Good men walk into the court as the jury, but the third factor in the testimony and the verdict lies the absolute rule that no man can pass up... I know you posted this a while ago, but I just wanted to explain for anybody else... I feel like ranting

  • @bardock719 No worries lol, I know the feeling, i'm an expert ranter xD. I actually watched the movie and read the book not too long ago, and I have to say my opinion is only stronger on the subject now

  • dude everytime i watch him catch it one handed i laugh lolol idk why but i do

  • That's right, Mayella, jump in shock at the trick up Atticus' sleeve...

  • toms voice is like chocolate

  • the awkward moment when tom drops the cup.

  • HAHAHAH lol at the "who would rape that ugly cunt..."

  • Jem is so hot.

  • i would just like to point out that all black people can catch with both hands so this whole defence is complete bullshit

  • @shutout951 the only thing that maks this whole movie bullshit is how rascist the jury has been torwards tom its not a matter of fact if he could catch it with his left hand it was a matter of how mayella also lied on him and accused him of raping her tom has never done anything wrong the people wanted to see him suffer just because he was black and i feel that he should of gotten a better trial

  • @NightX14 ___No, no.....the movie is not bull-shit.... you may not know it but you just perfectly made one of the major points of the movie......how there was "no justice back in those days if you were black" and believe me this would have been a very realistic scenereo for the "Old South" Typically, back then, it would have been an "all white jury" and the trial would have been just a formality they legally had to go through....black = guilty in the old days.....thats a fact

  • @inkey2 well let me explain something to you not everyone was rascist back then this movie just shows you how the world is like and why you should never kill a mocking bird tom however was a mocking bird and he lost everything he had just because of one lie that mayella said and on top of that was because he was black now if a whitemen was accussed of raping a black women they probbally would have let him go which sounds to me pretty unfair to tom......... this is not justice this is rascism

  • i wouldn't rape her if she was the last bitch on the planet

  • guys haha, i know in the movie it may not seem it but from the book, theres alot from mayella that's really sad. Sure it was bad she tried taking advantage of tom, but to be quite honest no body would treat her right and she wanted to be with a person who actually treated her good. Shes lieing because shes scared that she would get in trouble with her father, who takes advatange of her when he is drunk. Sorry haha :) im reading this in school and im pretty intreseted in it :)

  • @themysticgirls IT is a very interesting book and there is alot more in the book than the movie... i just finished reading this book for my English 10 class lol

  • Probably the greates face in a court-room.

  • I love when those awesome characters in movies or literature just have the most loyal fanbase and are such awesome BAMFS that they will always be remembered.

Liam Neeson, Mufasa, and Atticus Finch come to mind...

  • سخاااااااااااافه

  • I thought mayella was supposed to be 19 yrs old? where can i watch the full movie?

  • what happened in to kill a mockingbird still happens today to

a lesser extent. Black men are proven innocent multiple times

yet still punished due to racism.

  • @9N8X that just isn't true.

  • @ryslo2000 That is true. You must be one of the whites who don't like to hear that your people are still that bad even today and yet it does happens. As a black man I know of two such cases that this same thing has happened to.

  • @lordcron but now a days there is DNA testing and vidio cameras everywhere....it is alot harder to convict an innocent black person than it was even 20 years ago

  • @9N8X well if a black person is proven innocent in the courts......they cannot be sentenced....they are let go....so I don't understand what you meant that "black men are "proven innocent" and still punished". I may have not understood your point so I am open to your explanation

  • @inkey2

Look up "Man that falsely accused of murder/rape/etc. freed from prison" it will be a black man 80% of the time.

  • @9N8X yes but you stated that black men "who were "proven innovent" were punished.....are you trying to say that they were proven innocent many years later? Because the way you said it sounded like they were first proven innocent in court yet still punished

  • Tom was shot with 17 holes. It did not have to be that many. Actually, Tom was innocent.

  • I'm reading this book in my English class. It's very good, but because it doesn't have much action most of my classmates hate it. I believe that in the book, this scene is slightly different when they explain how Toms left hand was crippled.

  • Anybody know where I could watch the movie for free?

  • she a ho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HEY i wanted to see what she said!

  • Shawwg Mayella. BUSTED!

  • did u know a finch & a robin are birds? and ewell is another name for bird shit?

  • i would have said in the background "Owned Bitch!"

  • I agree...but that term would have used soo often that it would have lost all meaning...very sad...it works today sometimes in watching the truth unfold but with lawyers and the games that go on...getting "owned evidence wise" still doesn't mean what it should when the truth is ....DAMN...RIGHT THERE...!!..LOL

  • @sephiroth900000 Yes but back in those days in Alabama , if u were a White man , and if u saw a White wrong a Black , and u knew who was right who wrong , u still took sides with the White man , even against ur will. That was custom.

  • @Iranali786 thats right....in the old south even a decent white person had to side with the racist whites for fear of being beaten, killed or driven out of town by the clan

  • lol haha Mayella BUSTED

  • Disregarding the movie, I believe more books should be more like it on the grounds of readability, and pacing. I mean the book is relatively short in comparison to lord of the rings, and harry potter, but it still has the detail and depth those kind of longer books carry. Although the movie chops off about half of the books events its still as riveting as many big budget book to film adaptations. Being able to pull something off like that is an example of great story telling.

  • Best fracking book ever

  • don't think about Bob Ewell.. why Mayella love Tom Robinson and kiss him perfectly and then said that she never kiss a adult man in her life even Tom is a Negro. LOL

  • Atticus Finch stands for all the was good that is good and that could be good in the world. In my opinion, the greatest hero in literature and film in history.

  • Atticus is the man.

  • haha yeah, you wish you could have them

  • atticus? the fuckin mackin on mayela?

  • Comment removed

  • Lol.

  • Don't you just love atticus? And why would tom want that ugly woman?

  • The end of the court scene moves me most, when the rev says to Atticus's daughter - 'Stand up.. Your father's passing..' & all the black people get to their feet in recognition of Atticus's integrity, principle & decency. How the world is crying out now for men & women of those old school values. But I can't agree with you about the woman. I think she's nice looking, - she just isn't wearing make up that's all. Women in poverty wouldn't have had anything like the money for such luxuries.

  • @kittybookitty way to copy my comment.....

  • @kittybookitty

he didn't. he thought he was just gonna bust up her chifferobe. turns out she wanted him to bust up that... well, you know. =)

  • @kittybookitty He didn't 'want' her. It's perfectly understandable that he would feel sorry for her considering the situation she was in, but that's the closest he got. Mayella was the one who was 'wanting' someone in this situation.

And yes, who couldn't love Atticus?

  • what did he get his arm caught in??

  • a cotton gin

  • a cotton gin,

the machine is used for seperating cotton from the seeds

  • I felt so bad for Tom Robinson =(

  • SHE RAPED ME MR. FINCH!

  • Nice observation.

  • hmmm surprised the s*** out of mayella that tom couldnt use his arm. ah haha watta bitch

  • Well in the book Atticus blames Bob Ewell for beating Mayella and I really thought he did because he was such a drunk in the book.

  • surprised the sh*t out of mayella when she found out that tom's arm had been disabled. Beforrre he ever had the chance to 'rape' mayella.

  • Oh...OH snap. You dumb whore.

Well, I love when Tom says she hugged him around the waist...

I would do the same :D

  • who would rape that ugly cunt...

  • @420kushmaster420 Except her dad Bob Ewell.

  • @420kushmaster420 You're missing the point...

  • @420kushmaster420 are you angry that I got more thumbs ups than you?

you didn't exactly invent the word "ugly" but because you came back AN ENTIRE YEAR LATER to the same video to see if anyone "copied" your comment, I'll go ahead and give ya a thumbs up. Happy?

  • @kittybookitty I did not come back to this video just to see if anybody copied my comment... I never said that i made that word up.... I dont give a fuck about if your comment has 2 more thumbs up than mine... somebody replied to my comment and i read what i said then saw your comment... I posed mine first.... you copied it...

  • @420kushmaster420 you need help

  • @kittybookitty childish much?

  • @themysticgirls no not really. strict much? kitty has a point

  • @420kushmaster420 Her dad would rape her...

  • @420kushmaster420 I will. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • OWNED!!!

  • He did, but he's trying to make out that Tom Robinson did it. xx

  • i love the book! man poor tom robinson!

stupid bob ewell he deserves to get killed not tom!

  • I don't recall this scene (catch glass) existed in the book. But in the book Reverand Sykes explained to the children what happened to Tom's left arm. But anyhow, it is still brilliant that they made it that way in the movie.

  • True. This scene isn't in the book; rather, Tom's hand is far more damaged in the book visibly.

  • Yea we just saw this in my class today. I was sorta disappointed in seeing how it looked like his left hand was perfectly fine. But hey, they didnt have really good effects back then, so it was a good sub in for that major detail in the book.

  • pwned, this was a great scene.

  • Atticus is a gun, he's makin the other side look like dumb fags.

  • Gun is the correct word. :D

  • Hey, can you tell me where i can find the movie for this book?
