I have several recordings of both the Tancredi and the Adrianna but don't honestly think any of them touch her for dramatic tensity! Theatrical singing at its greatest.

L'Arianna fue la segunda ópera de Claudio Monteverdi, y una de las óperas barrocas que más influyeron en la obra lírica posterior. Fue estrenada en Mantua en 1608 y su libreto se basaba en la leyenda de Ariadna y Teseo.

La partitura se ha perdido a excepción del aria Lamento d'Arianna, conocida también por las primeras palabras de su texto «Lasciatemi morire». [
