  • Absolutely amazing, love this scene

  • Was this a preexisting melody or was it created by Bill Bailey?

  • Attention! The words in brackets are the auxiliaries that he forgets to say, but he's not French so we forgive him!

  • @IlEstToutSeul and he's got an amazingly good accent :)

  • Does anyone know the actual name of the french piece played there? Thanks

  • @emohairXD lol i think he made it up :)

  • I love that the audience pretty much only reacts to the lyrics when it says 'they adopted the missionary position. It's popular.' Seems that even when in a different language we Brits manage to pick out the sexual aspects of the song! aha

  • Jean-Michel disliked this

  • @HervProm3theus Giselle left him for the ambulance driver.

  • typical French bastards, getting sensitive because he said the a name of a French man. Fuck off you caaaaaaaaants

  • So Jean michelle broke his leg falling out of a tree

  • I'm actually french and I found him absolutely HILARIOUS !!! thanks Bill ! (Just hope that nobody think that we actually have this siren xD)

  • 1 Dislike? I guess Jean-Michel must have seen this video

  • Anyone who knows how to get the notation of his song?

it's hilarious, just a perfect "typical" french piece of art

  • What's Sir Bailey have against Jean-Michel, anyway? . . . While we're on the case, who is Jean-Michel? Is it a made up Character, just for Bailey's jokes?

  • @AriochStarr I believe he's referring to Jean-Michel Jarre (the musician). There's a song on the Bewilderness album about him so I'm guessing it's the same guy in this song.

  • @themichaelc So what's Bailey have against him? Does he hate him? Does he think he's a twit? I don't understand why he's so negative about Jarre

  • @AriochStarr No idea, I think Jean-Michel Jarre is pretty good. It's the same with Chris de Burgh. Just some sort of in-joke maybe that only he knows.

  • I learnt the theremin in school, but my music teacher said it wasnt a valid instrument so i learnt the banjo

  • Is the accordion music he plays made up or is it one done by someone else?

  • @k45im4l1 I believe he makes up his own music. He is quite the competent muscian! xD

  • @trainzandtrombones Quite. The accordion music he plays if very good. I wouldn't mind having that.

  • @k45im4l1 he plays his own stuff, has a degree in music from some university (one of the more prestigious ones I think but which one escapes me) very very clever talented man

  • "Yes, there IS an accident..but let's enjoy the ride!"

    XDDDDDDDDDDD

  • not disappointment, Doppler effect ;)

  • Bill Bailey appears to have started going bald at some point in the 80s and early 90s and then just stopped.

  • 0:22

He looks and sounds like a clown that's just received some terrible news. :<

  • Not to be a killjoy, but the reason why the siren drops in pitch is due to the Doppler effect.

  • @AMD2600 He does explain that....now doesn't he.

  • @AMD2600 No shit Sherlock.

  • @ghowells Attention means 'warning'

  • Doppler effects.

  • what is the real name of the song at 1:36?????

  • @techmanty uh, he made it?

  • @tabbyaboutroots As a comedian? Yes well he's had a quite stunning career if you ask me=)

  • He's so clever. :-)

  • Does anyone have the entire bewilderness up on here? I've only ever seen the beginning.

  • I think the ambulance service in France should actually adopt this as their siren :)

  • I was laughing so hard, i almost bneded a French ambulance!

  • epic win :P

  • Does anyone know what the french siren song is based off, I have been looking for this song for ages!

  • @JooshMate I think it's just generic French-sounding music. If you want music like it, download the OST (Soundtrack) to Amelie, which is by Yann Tiersen. It's great.

  • Lyric translation:

Attention, We are injured, We have a man, He's called Jean-Michel, He breaks his leg, With a girl, She's caled Jiselle, She's beautiful, They climb up a tree, To make love, They adopt the missionary position, It's popular, He fell, He broke his leg, Attention

  • @ghowells Thanx.

  • @ghowells XD

  • Shame there isn't a reaction that says, "Bloody hilarious!".

  • @ghowells thanks man! : ) have always been wondering what he was singing about, could only understand attention : P

  • @ghowells Nearly.

  • what is that thing he uses at 0:50-54?

  • @redrumdrinker432 the DVD edited it to do that:L

  • the french words e put in this e did himself

  • That song is based on an actual french song, just cant remember what its called lol
