  • @CerebralAssassin1977 Try reversing the clips and then adding the split vertical soft transition in the timeline. If that was no help, then there are lodes of tutorials on how to use split vertical soft for Windows Movie Maker on YouTube. Just look for the tutorials, and you wont actually believe how easy the effect can be ;)

  • @GibberishHamburger

Thank you for your comment, and yes, it is completely safe. It is the add-on in which i downloaded to make this video with. Also to make sure, i downloaded it for myself and nothing happened. I even checked it for viruses, and I can assure you its safe :)

Its what everyone uses to get the cloning effect with... so yeah XD

  • @shlimonb

Thank you very much for your feedback. As I have already said, I cannot make a tutorial of the effects due to my new computer. But I will name the effects I used in the video for you... Try to look these up.

    - Cloning effect in Windows Movie Maker.

    - Blue screen effect in Windows Movie Maker.

These were the main effects I used, and there are lodes of tutorials of them up on YouTube. Hope this helped you out and good luck on your new videos ;)

(P.S. This was made entirely with WMM)

  • @MrMrGadgetboy1 can you tell me where i can find the effects for windows 7 ? i dont seem to find any tutorials

  • @Tinii3Mel

sorry, I'm kind of stuck in the same situation as you! I made this video with my old computer, which was running on a completely different windows at the time. now i have a new windows 7 desktop, and i found that it might be a little bit harder to install the add-ons for windows 7. (although i do use Adobe After Effects now)

I know this didn't come much help to you, but I'm pretty sure there are some fairly decent tutorials out there...

  • @MrMrGadgetboy1 do you maybe know a add ons that works?

  • @Tinii3Mel

Well try looking for the transition "split vertical soft" for Windows Movie Maker. It is the add-on needed to make the cloning effect. Also to help you out, I have included a link to the website where you can download split vertical soft for Window Movie Maker. Its in the description bar :)

  • @StaffTizer

I am going to make a tutorial of this video soon. if you would like to know how its done then you might want to stay tuned :)

  • c'est meme pas sur movie maker 2011

  • @StaffTizer

The effects don't come pre-loaded on the movie maker software, you have to add them yourself. And please try to type in English next time if you can... I had to Google translate your text XD

  • Hi,

I would like to know how you can do that please ! :)

  • @NewKing91

Thank you! I am very glad you liked it :D :D

And if you would like a tutorial on it, stay tuned because there's one coming up soon! =)

  • @capricorntak113

That's called the blue screen effect... You can search it up on YouTube, or refer to previous comments on this video, but you have to add that feature on to your movie maker software yourself because it doesn't come ready featured with it...

That's as much help as i can give you at the moment, but just try to find the right video that explains the effect... Hope it helped! :D :D

  • sweet

  • @camaroomio

Thanks bro glad you liked it ;)

  • @ajcookies99

I don't know if it was a later version or not, but i just used the version that said "Windows Movie Maker". I cant remember ever using live movie maker. And to disappear you have to tape a footage of you behind a background, and fade it into another footage of the same background that you took before, which you are not behind. It should look like you've just disappeared. Hope that helped ;)

  • @Manktala12

That's called the blue screen effect. I can't tell you exactly how to make it because it would take too long, but you have to add that feature onto your Movie Maker software. First go to this video...

Windows Movie Maker- Blue Screen Effect on Windows Movie Maker

And click on the first video that you see. Follow the instructions given. that should help you because that's how i download it. Tell me if there's a problem. And thanks for the sub, it was greatly appreciated ;) :) :D

  • For the first sene, did you overlap the clips? I tried overlapping the clips, but it doesn't work.

  • how did you do that "spirit" effect on the first scene?

  • @franzelin

I took a video of me lying on the ground and another footage of me getting up from the ground in that position and blended the two scenes together. And that's all! Hope it helped.

  • did u use windows movie maker 2011 or a later version

  • @TheJAZZYinHD

haha lol I guess you can never get too much of yourself XD

  • @MegaEpicWalkthroughs

Thanks! Glad u enjoyed it :)

  • Dude you earned a sub that was freaking Epic :D

  • @TheRealPoptart

Thank you, all this is greatly appreciated btw ;)

  • @MrMrGadgetboy1 ;) you should have more views than this tho

  • @TheRealPoptart

    omg Thanks bro! I'm subbing u :) :)

  • How did you do that invisible thing, that was amazing :)

  • I'm glad u enjoyed it. Its called the blue screen effect. I cant put up the link to the Download & tutorial video because a youtube bug wont let me, so go on youtube and just search for-

"Windows Movie Maker- Blue Screen Effect on Windows Movie Maker" and click on the first video that comes up. I hope this helped u out.

And thank you again for the comment, it was greatly appreciated ;)

  • @MrMrGadgetboy1 Its wicked, thankyouu!! :D

  • @Eleness82

Its cool, glad i could help ;)

  • how do you clone without the use of a timeline on window movie maker 2011? I really need to find out for a school fproject - please help!

  • @12345Helper

Before you make clones you need to download a transition called "split vertical soft" only afterwards can you make the effect. It basically splits the video into two half's. I can't post a link to the video because this youtube bug wont allow me, so you need to search on youtube for-

"How To Clone Yourself Using Windows Movie Maker!" -and click on the first video that comes up. I know this isn't much help, but youtube wouldn't let me post the link.

    thank you for the comment!

  • @12345Helper

btw I didn't really get what you meant when you said "without use of a timeline" you have to have a timeline for any video you make.

  • feel free to comment or ask any questions, I would be happy to answer!
