I've heard of them several times and after seeing this vid I must say they're good. I like the ugly vocals of the singer and the chaotic sound of the band - they blend well, and movingly so too.
i was reading flipside and mrr at the time and I always wondered why u.s. bands had almost all great gear: 60's cool guitars.. is that because these were just 15 years old things not yet vintage.. ? I mean, a 60's sg goes for 3000 us$ these days.. Oh well..
The last time I saw Kurt Cobain was at a Redd Kross & Muffs show at The Palace. He was surrounded by hangers-on, and Courtney was shrieking-on (as usual) about something. When we made eye contact, he just stood there, silently, looking like a scared, lost child. He subtly smiled, and looked off. It immediately saddened and unnerved me, which I remarked upon later that night with friends. I'll never forget that.
What is Tracy Lea up to these days? Always loved her performance in The LoveDolls as "Tanya Hearst"...great films and required viewing..."Listen Bitch,Nobody fucks with the She-Devils........!"
they look like mini johnny thunders, pretty cool stuff
