i'm thinking about getting one but wondering if its like the older version of the psp the one that is heavier and has an ejection button to it instead of the new one where you pop open the back to put the disk in?

this is indeed the new slim psp. it's also light and not heavy. as for the eject disk, you manually have to open it rather than press a button.

hey, no problem. i'm glad i helped. did you know that the psp 3000 model is on development as we speak? in japan, it's rumored to be released in october and i hear it comes with gps, built-in mic, and the home button has the PS logo.

yea the psp 3000 will be released in october, but only in Australia,uk, japan, and i think some other country's, expect usa. the 3000 model with eventually come to the usa but for now if you live in the us gotta wait couple months.

i don't know anything about the tv unless you're talking about locationfree player. but as for skype, if you buy the headset communicator you can chat with other skype users. it's practically a phone in your psp. it's awesome!
