MAN I´m so excited for the 2012 movie. I know its gonna be all CG, but it´ll still be awesome to see the king of monsters on the big screen :)

But I REALLY hope Toho starts making Godzilla again soon :)

Toho gave Godzilla a 10 year hiatus after Final Wars, so we'll be seeing Toho Goji pretty soon.

As for the 2012 reboot, I sincerely have high hopes for it...I feel Gareth Edwards knows what he's doing. I'm also a fan of David S. Goyer, too.

@FilmForceStudio You remember the Toho that sued Subway over a bad halloween costume? There are rumors they MIGHT have grown some balls about their cash cow, and are forcing Legendary to make an actual Godzilla movie, with CGI only augmenting the effects ala Tokyo S.O.S. (aka the best looking G film ever).

The "inside sources" are vague, so don't get too optimistic. There is a CHANCE it MIGHT NOT be GINO 2.

Personally, I hope Toho pulls the license and Legendary goes bankrupt, but that's me.

@egdeltur666 It's not that there is a chance it might not be Gino 2, IT WON'T BE GINO 2! Legendary has made it clear that they want to make a true Godzilla film, one that pays homage to the traditional Godzilla, so it's gonna be a good one. And why don't you want Legendary to make Godzilla? As far as I'm concerned, they're the only studio in Hollywood that's responsible enough to deliver a faithful Hollywood adaption of the monster.

Yes, it is the opening scene of the movie. It could be technically considered a dream sequence, but is mostly how Ryunosuke Chagawa is envisioning his story as he writes it...which he eventually discards after being accused of being a rip off.

I'm glad you had the chance of seeing it, 'cause this should be seen by everyone, even people not familiarized with Godzilla, which is something almost impossible.

Since Ryunosuke (the writer) was "ripping off" Godzilla, I'm guessing the next scene involved a Dragon Ball Z-esque confrontation of sorts where Norifumi Suzuki ends up transforming into a Saiyan-like being. But of course, the writer got cut short, so that didn't happen...
