  • What a beauty!

    Lovely. Really, well done. ;-)

    K.

  • That's awesome!

  • Its gonna blow apart in mid air........:P

  • What a great flying bird. The enjine is a great touch too :P

  • Put that engine on a brick and it'll still fly

  • wow love that sound.

  • Now try it on a GWS Ugly Stik. LOL

  • Wow stik always fly well regardless of power plant or size ,,, looks expensive though.

  • Neat! Is there a Monster Stick 170 turboprop on the build table next?

  • this was an awesome video and what a great plane!!

  • that's pretty unusual. What motor is that?

  • ta faltando um dente!

  • @edgarepriscila1 hauhuauauahuahuhauhauhauhaua

  • congratulations great fly... excellent pilot !!

  • Where do you get a turboprop?

  • Where can I buy this?

  • @loh1110 check this

  • @loh1110 check this dreamworksrc

  • @loh1110 check this dreamworksrc com

  • prolly coulda bought a whole new mouth of teeth with the money for that engine

  • @Mikerohren ... Anyone (you mainly) that feels the need to make fun of someones appearance is probably not reall attractive themselves. Jus' sayin'.

  • BEAUTIFUL engine and awesome flying

  • I'm shaking my head as i'm watching this vid. Just unbelievable. So nice... That turbo-prop makes some REAL power (of course). I'll bet the motor doesn't even know it's pulling anything! Vertical take-off's are possible, if only a way to get it situated.....

  • javemu@hotmail.es

  • I have a Sweet stick .40, this is amazing. I would recommend to keep the turbine running for a few minutes after landing to cool it down or lowe the combustion temperature.

    Nice job.

  • A very diferent Stick.. Sorry buy I still like the round rumbley tempermental radial..

  • That's the most awsome use of a turbine ever !

    Too cool

  • Nice sound on that model. Wonder what a set-up like that costs.

  • very nice , fly and great job on that turboprop ,in the hands of a great pilot .

  • Very cool plane great flight good job!

  • awesom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yep, Cessna Caravan. Awesome engine!

  • WOW

    That is way cool

    Love the sound

  • damn cool........

  • Wow - when I started flying turbines where a dream - now you can get this kinda gear!!!

Real aeromodelling is alive and well!!!

.....who'll be first to use one in a pattern ship??

  • that is just sick. i love it and the way it sounds.

  • Someone please bend/fix his antenna!

  • model planes>dental care = loser. QED.

  • THAT IS A HOT LOOKIN ENGINE!!!!!!

  • This would be cool on an aerobatic plane or a Cessna Grand Caravan model.

  • racist plane

  • @mecamoon

    LOL, it's from WW1 !!!

  • Awesome motor powering a VERY UGLY plane. If it,s only for testing, than Ok, Otherwise a bad choise. this motor should be perfect for a Pilatus Porter.

  • What is the meaning of "Das" in the Text "Das Turboprop Ugly Stick"? Is it the name of the manufacturer of the turbine?

  • @FMo01 "Das" is the german word for the article "the".

  • @pibyte Dann müsste es "Der Turboprop Ugly Stick" (Videoanfang) heißen oder "Das Turboprop Ugly Stick RC Flugmodell" (Videoüberschrift).

  • @FMo01 Da geb ich dir gerne recht ;)

  • Skills!

  • great plane and great show

  • cool system, but why this plane?

  • @SvenOkonomi as he said, its just a test bed aircraft to get used to the spool up time and feel of a turbo prop.

  • @SvenOkonomi ....good test bed I reckon

  • @tomview1 Very true. I wonder what the eventual model will be for this engine though. Some sort of reno racer, a raven or something would be cool.

  • Simply fabulous!

  • very nice i dont think ive seen a turbo prop on a rc aircraft before very nice. looks like it preformed very will

  • @pistolpetepeterson Yeah mate look for them on here (youtube) and they also put them on Helicopters ;-)

  • Awesome plane! very unique

  • I noticed what appeared to be smoke fluid lines going to the exhaust stacks, but no smoke?

  • @shuttj I think they may be exhaust temperature probes.... maybe

  • Awesome!

  • Now that you know it works well, time to put it on something better.

    J

  • very nice.....great job!!!!!

  • Love that turbo prop!

  • loved how the engine sounds...

  • Wow what a beautiful engine. Piece of art.

  • Ugly stick? Perfect name for this one...

  • Never thought someone would strap a Wren 44 T.P. on a Stik... Looks like she has enough power, after watching the near vertical take off....

  • No hanger is complete without an Ugly Stik....apparently not even a jet hanger, although it has to be "Das Uber Turbo Stik".

The ANZAC jet rally is an amazing event. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  • Great sound and a stunning looking engine, dam I like shiny things :)

  • very n ice boys....its strange hearing that sound from a prop aircraft.....

  • Love that sound! :)

  • @joogsiethequaker

    yes sounds very cool

    grtzz

  • HOTDAMN!

  • I didn't even know they existed! The torque of a prop at nearly the speed of a jet would you say? Is it expensive like a turbine? Does it have a feathering prop? Very curious but very sleepy...I'll run it by google in the morning.

  • Very interesting ugly stick!

  • Wow

  • thats ingenious!

  • thats a COOL stick

  • Wow, very interesting.
