The only thing i have against IR head tracking for computers, is that as you move your head around, your eyes are still looking at the same, stationary screen. So in effect, it's highly impractical without the use of a head mounted lcd system. But i do love the concept.

@xregizorx Nope. You need the TrackIR 5 package, which includes a specially designed camera, the drivers and a track clip (a thing with 3 reflectors) that attaches to your cap.

lol, 2 white lights on landing means you are to high you want one white one red to be on glide slope. plus you need to cut your power long before you even reach the runway so you gently touchdown. that landing would have been a completely fatal crash!

flight sim would be really good if the framerate was faster. THe problem with microsoft flight sim is the animation is too slow motion. Pc simulators have the capability to be as fast as the anmation on full motion simulators.

TrackIR is really great for enhancing the flight simulation experience.

The next best thing is adding voice control.

Try something called "Multi Crew Experience" (for which there is a fully working Demo) and you will see what I mean.

All you need is a headset with microphone to check it out. LOL :-))
