Our Giant Schnauzer, Axel, does this and so did our Giants who've since gone to the rainbow bridge; Klaus, Ulsa, and Brutus (our rescue GS). We call this "moto-dog" because it reminds us of motocross, especially when there are berms!
Very funny. My Giant Schnoodle (age two) like to "go wild" like this also. Every noon I walk down the street to the mailbox, Jasper and Heidi jostle each other at the door to make a race of getting to the mailbox first. And Jaspers barking is more like a screeching. It sound like they are both insane. Scares people walking past on the sidewalk. It is embarassing, but it is the highlight of their day.
