  • Brother, thanks. I hadnt tuned my 8 string uke since I got it in 2000 at Easter Island (probably built in Tahiti). Bridge was in the wrong place fo sure. Action is wicked high. Can I shorten the bridge safely? What kind of wood id the bridge made from usually? Keep at it.

  • You're not tune in GCEA

Listen to your firt string and compare it to a G of a hawaiian ukulele, normally it's the same sound but not with your vids !!

  • Bro, if u got nothin constructive or nice to say, stop waistin our time and space on this brothers free, not to mention awesome instructional video. I dont see yr arse doin it better... carry on K, I appreciate yr time and effort, and Im learning quick while enjoyin yr vids.

  • it's a little off, who cares... we all know what he means

  • Yea it is tuned to GCEA, the sound octave sounds different thats all, but you tune jus as a Uke.

  • Great work Kaota, I always wondered if I had my Uke tuned properly. Will mark this video in my favourites. I always had to play the Vaimutu Cd as a ref.
