This is the first time I've ever seen Moore behaving in a non-despicable way. I dislike the man's positions intensely, but he spoke some truth here, and he's to be credited for that.

I sort of like Moore's films. A lot of it is incredibly exaggerated, and often just plain distateful, but sometimes he makes a fair case. People just need to be open to his films, and not immediately write them off just because he has different opinions. The problem I find with this is that you added in video clips of him during the interview that...didn't disprove what he was saying.

When I listened to conservative talk radio they used to say there was no liberal talk radio. Obviously a film gets more publicity but any conservative can at least turn the radio to AM if they so choose.

The Moore template is being overused by various political stripes. You have to give Moore credit for pioneering what is a fairly powerful tool for a lone filmmaker (of course now he's got quite a substantial organization behind him). What's happening, however, is a kind of pseudo documentary saturation using by those utilizing his model of ambush interviews and skewed editorial. Now you can smell such projects a mile away and it's diluting their impact. That's a good thing.

Before Air America, which is a recent thing, there wasn't a single nationally syndicated liberal radio show. The conservatives have plenty-o-media representation - far more than liberals. For example, the part where Michael Moore is talking to the camera about his Oscar Speech telling us how he warned the people around him that he may go up there and tell the world what's on his mind. He wasn't talking to the "other nominees" as this filmmaker suggests (lies), he was talking to his own team. Why would he bring the other nominees on stage with him, dumbass?!

Very entertaining. But I have never thought that film or video was the best way to present the idealogical debate between big government and freedom. Too much chance of turning it into pure emotion. If you examine Michael Moore's movies carefully, you will see that he is really not interested in critical, indepth examination. And he is dishonest in his editing...example "Roger and Me" were he didn't show the footage of him actually asking question and getting answer from "Roger".

I think you did a good job and I think you should take his advice. The problem I think you'll face is that Hollywood isn't ready to back a conservative unless it will bring in HUGE profits and Christian or conservative film companies would rather spend their money elsewhere becasue they don't play by the same rules as democrats or left-wing liberals. I like a lot of Mike's stuff, BTW, but not the stuff against Republicans, which is most of it.

I sort of like Moore's films. A lot of it is incredibly exaggerated, and often just plain distateful, but sometimes he makes a fair case. People just need to be open to his films, and not immediately write them off just because he has different opinions. The problem I find with this is that you added in video clips of him during the interview that...didn't disprove what he was saying.

I disagree with you. I don't think Moore exaggerates at all. And what he does is not "plain distasteful." Moore is an opportunist. And he uses examples to bolster his case whenever possible. He does "cherry pick" if you will to support his case but he's not exaggerating by any means.

You have to understand peoples' psychology. Michael will smell his style coming at him and already knows how to dodge it. At the center of Michael, and every lib, is a person who was fucked over bigtime by some authority figure in their childhood. If you can express authority to him, or let's say, superior knowledge/insight, respectfully, it can likely penetrate his armor and cause him to feel a bit remorseful. He's just never had anyone he trusted and respected to show him the way.
