You have probably never watched FMA: Brotherhood, Clannad + Clannad After Story, Death Note, Code Geass, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu.

Not saying that EoE wasn't good, but the movies weren't that good compared to the anime, in fact, the 2nd movie hardly seemed like a movie and more 4 compressed anime episodes. Not to mention that a lot of things were lacking, like why (spoilers) Akira decided to leave again, and randomly found Saizo.
