Not bad for a live version. I think if they recorded this in the studio, Ville would have the perfect voice to cover some of the goth-sounding lyrics (ie, the final verse.)  More importantly, the guitarist could actually write a solo that is cohesive to the song instead of just shredding for the hell of it. I'm not saying duplicate the original, but there comes a point where you should stop showing off and play with the music.

@MalkavianWeezil I respect your opinion, but disagree. That solo was probably an improvisation, and for an improvisation it was killing good, because almost all the phrases had made sense with the music, in my opinion, and it gets ever more difficult to make fast phrases that fit the song.

I find it ridicolous that the vast majority of people who dislike HIM and Ville's voice are the typical silly headbanger types who love death metal and will claim "he can't sing!", when there are virtually no good singers in death metal and it takes not much talent to scream & growl about satanic stuff and surgical procedures gone bad.

From a musician's perspective, HIM is a great band, they play great music, Ville has one hell of a voice and great pitch (especially since he's been off drugs)!
