it 's legal to harvest 1 bear per season, we're receiving around50 hunters per season, so what you see is not mush compare what we are killing every years.

And the numbers keep growing, we are even not touching the population.

which province you guys in? Figure its not BC due to the baiting, so I was just curious.

Where I live baiting is unneccessary and illegal, but I got no objection to it. But, to gurantee people the opportunity to take a bear with a bow in a short time frame you pretty much need to bait. Is that a fair way to put it so people understand why its done?

Doing a spot and stalk here is about impossible. Since am doing that for the Wildlife reserve,bear population just kept growing, and moose population had triple! up to around 1000 animals in 1000²mi.

To get the bigger bears, meat is the best attarctive,

I put out over 20 tons in a 2 month season

we use honey with other mixture.

Bears are eatable, as we harvest mostly dominant boars, meat contain a lot of parasits, same as pigs than men can catch,

hunters hunt them for meat, skin, and adrenaline.

I can put you in contact with my taxidermist and you can get a bear skin easily.
