@bmxjunkie7 I'm not sure but it's not prepaint that's for sure, pause at 1:02 and you can see it's a regular magazine. My theory is that the magazine page is sticking to the paint and were seeing the back portion, not the other page but what's inbetween. Though I'm not sure if magazine paper actually has something inbetween the front and back page.

@ChuckleKing ...Magazine pages are used to create effects because it has a coated paper and is not porous like normal news paper... So as a result you are able to lift small amounts of the paint reveling previous layers whereas newspaper would try to absorb the paint and stick.
