@rubiesncreme I'm very very familiar with Buddhism. I consider myself a low level Buddhist. Don't assume things. Part of Buddhism is knowing that one part of life is renouncing the evil in the world, and the only way to do that is to know what evil is.

I for one went on a journey to see examples of all sorts of evil just to have the knowledge, and I no longer desired to see any of it ever again. After studying it, I know very well what it is I do not agree with. After facing evil, I can truly renounce evil. If one hides from evil and never learns from it, they lack that power. I'm sure many Catholics know nothing of Buddhism as they consider it evil. Ignorance is darkness

@rubiesncreme I didn't say you were Catholic, I said that many Catholics consider Buddhism as something bad... because it's not a religion about Jesus Christ. I know many Christians and Catholics who believe that religions like Buddhism, Hinduism, or any other religion are evil just because it isn't based on Jesus. If they consider Buddhism evil, and the Three Wise Monkeys idea of avoiding hearing or seeing or speaking evil, they'll never know of it. So, don't assume that I assumed things :^P

@rubiesncreme I think people should always try to learn about something before they judge it, because if they're told at church that Buddhism is evil, and they're trained to never even learn about it, they'll never know what it even is... I believe people should be opened minded about things and learn about them well, then make a decision, not make a decision and cut off things that you might really have wanted in your life. As well as you'll never learn important lessons if you avoid any evil.
