the 'supercooled water' is fake.. you just add a chemical and it LOOKS like it turns into ice, but in reality the reaction is giving off heat, and it does not produce ice, but a gel that looks like ice rather much.

Fitting such a lasers to helicopters like these could help eradicate mosquitoes etc over large areas.

The frequency of the helicopter blades is much lower than the resolution of the targeting system computer so could be adjusted for probably. energy could be provided if helis could occasionally, cooperatively, transport their own generator and supplies.

I'd normally agree with you, but really, it's the best idea I've heard so far. The pressure of the blast would close the hole, nad if the charge were put low enough under ground it wouldn't disrupt that much wildlife underwater, and tidal waves would be at a minimum, if none at all. But it could backfire and open up a lager hole in the well :/
