  • I like creed. I like Napalm but I've never been able to get it to run properly on emulation. I do still have my 1200, power tower, 040, 32mb... maybe it's time to dust it off.

  • For sure it was one of the best pure Amiga games

  • Napalm was light years ahead of C & C at the time of it's release. Some explosions would've been cool for sound. I still play this on my desktop A4000 with a Warp engine '040/40 with 48 MB of RAM and it runs well on my New Tek Video Toaster with an '030/50 with 32 Mb RAM. There was a sequel in the works called N2 Euroburn where you could edit your own battlefields, but apparently Clickboom never released it. Does anyone have any information about N2?

  • Cypron studios made Napalm - the crimson crisis for amiga and some years later State of war for PC youtube.com/watch?v=IFbWorEIAc8&feature=related

  • Ugh - this music makes the vid unwatchable.

  • I gave it a thumbs up just because of all the people griping about the music rather than watching the Amiga kick butt.

  • looks a lot like kknd

  • Check out the new amiga coming out very soon, just search: Amiga X1000 in your favourite search engine!

  • The gameplay looks alright and the graphics are... nope, can't do it. This music sucks too bad to make a decent comment on the video. I tried, I really did.

  • its just a amiga version of ''state of war'' for pc

  • @OldSkoolStudio yes it's State of War

  • I came across this, and immediately dreamed of being able to pour petrol on this video and setting it in fire. Reason: If you record a game video - use the bloody in-game sound, not bloody soundtrack that doesn't even go with it.

  • Didn't even know amiga could run this kind of games.

  • what is that in the background? is that jesus music? was that in the game or did you add that? what is that?! :þ

  • I'm beginning to regret putting the music on this video, the amount of moaning about it! When I recorded the game play for some odd reason it did not record the audio which is a shame, so I could of uploaded silent maybe I should have, but I thought I'd stick one of my fav songs on top just for something for people to lesion to.

  • @amigang yeah man, no offence but this song sucks the hairy root. Maybe killswitch engage and ' break the silence' ?

  • @amigang What a horrible noise XD

  • @amigang I always think it's a bad idea to put music to games since the demographics of gamers doesn't always (i.e. NEVER) seems to align with the demographics of listeners. Like, I HATE this music (I listen to electronica) but love this system. See how that works?

  • State of war totally ripped this off :)

Also it has a KKND feel to it

  • it kinda looks like state of war and C&C

  • Why did you have to have a gay goddamn song for this otherwise all right video?

  • this game has weapons like ''nuclear missle'' ?

  • This seems a lot like Command & Conquer?

  • that music is just gay

  • the best amiga game ever was Black Crypt...

  • Good game, shame about the song, couldnt bring myself to watch it because of it

  • Last game for the Amiga came in 2006.

    Amazing, huh?

    Creed is a fag band!

  • Amiga is still going so games are still coming out for it.

    Amazing, huh?

Creed is good! But it dos'nt matter as this is the Calling.

  • Yeah, but it's just not the same anymore.

    Ya dig?

Creed is a christian fag band!

    Just a matter of opinion

  • Since there are not any spare parts and software houses that support amiga how can it still exist?I havent seen any new amiga title for at least 8 years. Moreover there are no acceleration cards to play these games....

  • I was a die hard Amiga user from 1990 till 2000 and i still have my A1200 set up today with x2 A500's locked away but games "still" coming out for the Amiga? What games? please elaborate.

  • Comment removed

  • @amigang great resond hehehe

  • @amigang

lol, you got point! It's Calling and Calling is fag, not Creed :D sorry

  • yeah i played this on my apollo 040 and i was in heaven....this was a true classic amiga game one of the best ever

  • Great game, but what's up with the back ground musick?!? :)

  • There was also kewl game called "Exodus" made by boys from Poland - also rulez! :)

  • This game made in the Slovak Republic. Yes dear best strategic game on Amiga programmed Slovak boys. Rulez

  • looks liek command and conquer and krush kill and destroy.. but i never played it could you put up a download link for it

  • I love Amiga, but to enjoy this game in it`s day would have cost you a lot of money in upgrades on a standard A1200 or even an A4000 (25mhz) We were always getting screwed on the price of upgrades.

  • Wow, hard to believe this runs on an Amiga, just shows what the little baby could do :)

  • OMG This game looks so close to State of War! Check State of War on websites and you'll see that there is only one small difference OMG! LOL :D

  • AND it looks like KKND2, but of course it doens´t matter. hey! amiga rules!

  • Yeah exactly :) Amazing!

  • I'm thinking of buying one of the "new" Amigas (sam440ep motherboard, running on a PPC at 800mhz, Radeon GFX card) - will it work, or will there be some issues with emulation and stuff? I always wanted to play this game (was in one of the last issues of Amiga Format), but only had a 030/40mhz.

  • shit music ....

    but

    Amiga Rulez

  • What was its requirments?

  • I remember playing this as well as galaga and pp hammer. quite good games i´d say.

  • looks a bit like KKND to me

  • No, the Amiga was still the best games machine until around 1994, when Commodore went out of business (and graphics/sound card tech had improved sufficiently on the PC).

  • Note that despite being an American machine, the Amiga's main market was in Europe. While Europeans were playing first-rate games on Amigas and Atari STs (the first genuine multimedia machines), the North American market had fragmented into the unsophisticated but cheerful world of Nintendo and Sega console gaming, with PCs as almost exclusively business machines until the early 90s when gaming became half-decent on them. Outside of Europe the Amiga may have felt like a flash in the pan.

  • well, i bought my copy of warzone 2100 in 99 .. type that into youtube and compare.

I liked commodores, but they were just so utterly outdated then.

  • what is this horrible background music?

original sound would have been so much better...

Seriously, wtf kinda pussy christian rock is this :P Unworthy of the great amiga!

  • my brother made this game

  • VOTRTEXPO@

    My father too ;p

  • It's like kill krush n' destroy

  • yeah it allways reminded me of kknd too.

  • good graphics for amiga. never played any amigagame back in the day with graphics this good.

  • incredible!

  • I used to have this, didn't realize it was 1999 though, I thought it was earlier than that...

  • This looks a lot like Command and Destroy for the DS

  • From what I understand, Napalm was made by the same people who would later make Command and Destroy, though under another studio name.

It is not a coincidence that both games look a lot alike.

  • game is very cool (although the shaking of the screen effect is kinda annoying), music underneath sucks.

  • This game is amazing, and yes you can run this on a boosted a1200 but it´s mainly made for the a4000. Runs on amigaone also.

  • this game was designed for the a1200?

  • More A4000 specs, it required 68030 processor, Cd-rom, hard drive and 16mb fast ram.

  • A 68020 and 68030 give identical performance so an A1200 with a cheap 28mhz 68020 is as good as an A4000/030 then ;o)

  • Loved my amiga and this game is grand, bad choice of music though.

  • Too bad this game came out at least 5 years too late.

  • ok if u use WinUae i probably should stfu..but still.... :\

  • this is supposed to be a Amiga game from 99 ? omg how stupid people are 4 buying this Shi*..Wouldnt fall for this if you all came from Norway :s

  • What...the...hell? It's bad enough that you swapped the original game audio for a soundtrack...but THIS SONG?! What the FUCK man?

  • it would have been better to include the original game sounds...

  • wow looks like you need some kind of superamiga to run this :o

  • Game is cool... but music choice is terrible O_O

  • The very top building at 0:10 is EXACTLY like a construction yard in tiberium sun, and the power plant things are also really similar, do you know if this was one of the first tiberium sun type games released? =/

  • Nice looking game, but it's a strange choice of music there.

  • "exodus" is also good amiga rts

  • yeah this was a great game, but ive never got a fast enough amiga,...

  • I remember this game although I had always problems running it and never actually finished it. Thanks for nostalgia.

  • gay ass music

  • Neither a gay could like it... trust me!

  • Man, I must have missed the RTGs on Amiga. I have only just discovered Dune II on UAE (and it feels a lot like C&C, and I guess it's the predecessor). What other RTS games are there for Amiga?

  • It plays like dune2 on amiga500 with "lamerExterminator" inside ... :p

this game is a shit against my latest C&C-part.

it looks crappy and the FPS-rate is beyond the good will.

If you want, buy my Amiga1200T PPC 603+210mhz + Bvision. (64mb ram and 4.3 gig scsi hd)

AMiGA is dead - long live AMiGA ! ;)

  • I am a AMiga Fan. Nice Game thank you for upload. But the music is not the right for this game. Maby you are a fan of this band. But for this Amiga it's WRONG X20

  • sorry, I'm beginning to regret putting the music on this video, the amount of moaning about it! When I recorded the game play for some odd reason it did not record the audio which is a shame, so I could of uploaded silent maybe but thought I'd stick one of my fav songs on top just for something for people to lesion to.

  • I wonder why amga rtg's must look so much like KKND... it's the same with Exodus - The Last War. Not bec. KKND is a bad game, but I've always liked C&C better :)

  • good game but ofcourse not best game or something. there are many legendary games in amiga. and as some ppl say,yes the real amiga was amiga500, other all became (2000,4000 bla bla) became a media station.but a500 was pure game machine.

  • that probably depends on who you are asking....

  • i agree with hex, my vote for best game ever would be Moonstone.

  • well, it's still an amiga, based on the very same technology as the a500. But then again, a real amiga for you should have only 512kb of ram, which was the original amount of memory when it first came out on the market.

  • And a real PC is: 286 + 640KB RAM + CGA + PC Speaker

    :P

  • amigas are ace!

  • i want a copy of this game

  • Now that I'm putting 3.9 and a decent HD in my A4000, looks like I'll have to get a copy.

  • Thanks :P

Makes me happy to know I wasted 3mins of your life.

  • Agreed...

  • it's reminds me KKND

  • I never played this. Was this for the A1200?

  • Well it came out quite late in the Amiga world I think it was 98 or 99 it came out. It was designed more for A4000 spec Amiga's. I remember having to upgrade my ram to run it. A massive 16mb of mem it required and I only had 8mb of fast ram. Scary that now most games requires 1Gb to run.

  • The graphics remind me a lot of Red Alert 2. My A1200 has 32megs of ram and a 50mhz 68030. But no expansions besides the 030 and 32megs of memory. It does run off of straight AGA right? I mean, no need for Picasso or RTG right?

  • Yeah thats right, it runs straight off the AGA chips. I have "exactly" the same spec Amiga you have and i used to play it back in the day.

  • Me & my brother we played this game all night long. And we connected our Amigas via serial-port to campaign together. I won´t forget these time. O.K. only with an AGA chip and more than 16MB RAM and Blizzard 68030 + 68040, it works slowly, but we had lot of joy.

  • This looks wonderful. Well done on showing this.

  • nice game but the added soundtrac sucks

  • Sorry, I know its not the best song to put on it but I didn't want to load up a silent video

  • so the emulation didn't have any sound? :o

  • what C&C is this?

  • looks more to me like the most "PC-like" amiga game..

  • My favorite Amiga game would be Grand Prix by Geoff Crammond. But Clickboom certainly did a fine job with this C+C clone

  • Come on man! I am an AMIGA 500 fan (and owner) and i totally disagree. Play K-240,Wing Commander, Superfrog, Dungeon Master, Breathless, Ufo - Enemy Unknown, Zak Mcracken, Loom, The Secret of Monkey Island, Elf, Shadow Fighter, Doodle Bug, Dune II, Lotus III, F-19 Stealth Fighter and many more, to realize why by yourself...

  • I agree !!! Amiga 500 forever!

  • Yes there are some true classics on the Amiga and I too love all them games. But they are the classics this is one of the few modern titles for Amiga to make use of extra hardware you had invested over the years and was for me a game that I had waited for since Dune2. Napalm for me is by far the best RTS on the Amiga, and been that RTS is my fav type of game, this has got to win for me. Alien Breed 3D would have to come close second however.

  • Meh, the A500 was a nice machine, but I can't live with OCS or ECS. I'm an AGA person. Anything that crashes on my A1200's AGA will run just fine on WinUAE *shrug*. My copy of WinUAE is using only roms and the OS that I dumped off of my own real Amiga so don't hit me, at least not in the face!

  • I disagree. I like Breathless, Genetic Species, Myst, Quake, Blade, Gloom, and all the Alien Breeds. and not forgetting settlers. :-)

Amiga is still a grate games machine.

  • Well I think I am a big RTS fan, but I only had an Amiga when C&C arrived on the PC scene, so I had to pretty much make do with just Dune2 so never really had a modern RTS game until Napalm finally arrived! I have since played other RTS, and they are good but I will always like Napalm.

  • Never tried this one, but I remember Dune II on Amiga was mindblowing.
