@blaaackrain Well I do believe it varies. As you said most animals fight, Though why they fight is different in every case. The fight will go on until one gives up and accept the other as "alpha". The fight might lead to death but is rare. I can't say in an expert on the subject just yet but think that's how it goes. I know for pigs the seriousness of the fight, i.e. how much the pig will gain from winning/loosing, determines how far they will go before surrendering.
