Excellent comment :"but now to hear that after the dust settled Ros Sothea's songs filling the air, just crush that weak and cowardly evil ". I can imagine those cowardly Khmers Rouge who are still alive hearing her music all over Cambodia everywhere they go and hide their fucking faces. Thoses bastards don't deserve to live and roam free after what they did, those animals.

im a breakdancer and to know this music was lost saddens me.. it sound so much like the breakdancing music today and it really hits my soul man. i wish that type of music was still here.
damn fuckin viets all there fault i would personaly go back in a time machine and punch pol pot in the face and bomb vietnam , Man im pist if non of this happen Cambodia would have been a rich country not all corupt like now.
"Ma Pi Naok?" (Where are you from?) by Sinn Sisamouth and Ros Sereysothea (3:24-3:32), remake of "Ma Pi Naok" (Where are you from) by Dengue Fever (3:33-3:59)
I felt so bad for Cambodia. Look how we were catching up on with the western b4 Khmer Rouge in almost every aspect; musics, architect, industry and so on. If u notice at 2:35, it's the national stadium that used to be crowded but nowadays no one even want to go.
I like to say that to most ppl who doesn't know the fact especially the U.S. "They have some responsibility in the Cambodian's Genocide."
when I watched City of ghosts and I was like woaw a westerner can enjoy khmer's music. So I begin to dig into the web about sothea and samouth (those singers are my all time favorite artists) and found out about this project. Hopefully, it'll be released soon. Their skills and talents need an international credit/appreciation.
i can't wait to see this documentary. It excavates the almost forgotten Cambodia rock and roll before the genocide regime. It will be an effort to enrich our unique cultural piece.
