Paramedics and F.D were already summoned, officers are not fparamedic trained unless assigned to a SWAT. The suspect is the threat, he has established that he is a threat by his actions in trying to flee from the police. As dangerous as that suspect was, would you turn your back on him? I don't think very many people would. Of course monday morning quarter backing always comes up, Who knew if the asshole was dead or not?
Why the hell would it take 3 cops to try and pull a injured criminal from a car and they leave the innocent person trapped in there car, not even one cop goes near the car.

The cops are hogtied. If they had run this guy off the road into a pole, his mother would win $10 million for wrongful death from the city. The city council will vote to add another $2 million in council chambers to show their love. They had to drag the guy out of his car at the end. Guaranteed someone will blow all that up and post it here on YouTube under the heading of police brutality. At least one cop will be thrown off the force, and the FBI will indict for civil rights violations.
