Well really most northern people in sudan are predjudice against southern people from sudan.

So i would say that the goverment of course is the the overall reason for number one of course but a lot of northern sudanese are just as bad the way they look down on the purely africans. But yet, what angers me the most is that they state that they are good muslims but they look down on their own human kind.

What's going on is about three things. I'm young Muslim north Sudanese girl and i was eleven when i went to Sudan in 2005. I had no idea that only a couple hours drive away there were hundreds and thousands of people getting shot, killed, raped. I had not the slightest idea till about a year ago. Ever since i've found out i've been looking and reading and watching things about this. And i have to say that this is being fueled by three main things. 1.Ethnicity

The Sudanese army protect the Janjaweed militia. In this video, the army's celebration is surely in another part of Sudan (the arabic-muslim part), and not in the Darfour part where you find black-muslim (others ethnies), originary from Tchad (initially Christians). In fact, Khartum (capital of Sudan) use the Janjaweed for "cleaning" the west part of Sudan and the nearest of Chad, Khartum killed his own peoples. Sad country...
