From what I gather, this was performed by/to a graduating senior class group. I'd venture that they're all hugging because they're sad to be graduating and leaving one another.

This is horrendous. If you obviously can't do something, don't get on stage and perform it. It's embarrassing to the entire musical theatre community.
one of the things that one should give them credit for is how hard senior final performances can be. they're very emotionally hard sometimes. you can tell how sad a lot of them are

I don't know any of you, nor do I attend whichever school this is (because if I attended a school with a club doing a number from Avenue Q, I'd know and I'd be there to see it in person XD), but I wish you guys the best of luck in your pursuits after graduation.

AHAHAHA! I loved it...I'm not going to lie...it wasn't the best in some parts...but that's what makes it awesome...because when you watch it...it's not so much being the best...but just having fun...and I love that...i really do...it actually almost made me cry because of that reason...i love this song by the way...i sing it every morning
@aegelko This a Musical Theater Club, and every year the new members have to do a number together. Generally they do a song that relates to being new. In the beginning of this number (which is their final senior performance) they each perform a part of the song that they sang as a new member of the MTC. Some of them perform together because they joined at the same time.
