I just stumbled across this. Nice! I am working on lifting now myself. You are light years ahead. Good work! So this is what you did before you were a Big Time competitive eater in Major League Eating. Very cool!
Congrats but I believe in powerlifting to be a successful lift you have to have a 1 sec pause at the bottom which you didnt. Sorry not trying to hate. Still very impressive!
You're no different than all those other computer-geek fatboys who have nothing better to do than talk shit to others online. I don't think you would talk that shit face-to-face. This guy has a legitimate accomplishment that he's proud of and all you can do is try to tear him down, rather than do something productive with your own life.
This was taken in 1998. He's a spine surgeon, a model, & is into competitive eating. (He joined the Hot Dog eating contest recently.) Sure can made a lot of guys green in envy...
that's pretty good.

Dr. Bigtime?!?! COOL! I remember him from misc.fitness.weights. I'd heard he (you, Bigortho?) got sick or some such thing *frowns*
Crazy benching strength, btw -- and flat-backed to boot! *eyes bug out*

dude you could do a lot more with better form, pinch your shoulders arch your back and youll get like 50+ pounds
MicFrosty88 3 years ago
Arching the back is poor form, as it places much more stress on a person's back, potentially injuring the lifter.
anthyo2 2 years ago
it takes a load of stress of the shoulders and rotator cuffs, and naturally arching your back makes your body stronger as a whole.
MicFrosty88 2 years ago
@anthyo2 you are supposed to arch the back slightly when power lifting, not much though only enough to fit a fist or smaller under!
