Ridley was purely pwnage in animation, and if you made this in Game Maker, this is absolutely AMAZING! The Graphics are better than Mario Kart Wii, and some abilitys are animated and SCRIPTED so well, that I was about to cry... A+, 10/10

This must've taken the creator quite awhile to re-arrange. It looks awesome for a fan-made remake. Hopefully Nintendo will actually make an official remake though... I'd rather not have to pull out my old cache of Gameboy games just to enjoy this.

It is a fan game, but it is real, and there are a couple demos available. There is no release date. Check the right side of DoctorM64's blog page to find a download link for the demo.

As the first screen says, it is only a tech demo. I believe DoctorM64 has stated that Ridley will not be in the final game.

Don't worry it's just a tech demo Ridley was included just for the demo and nothing else.

If all this is in the final product then it's a different story but then again Metroid Zero changed a few things too and it wasn't that bad.

This is a Tech Demo of what he's accomplished so far, and it's damned amazing. Try it out yourself; it's programmed in GM, but feels like a real N made metroid game.

It's because it's made by one person. Programming games is extremely hard and tedious. Even the simplest character interactions and movements have very complicated coding and math behind them.
