I say unforget able date to me !4:30 in mourning Was going to wallmart ! Seen several ufo and one huge one ! they where flipping like if you toossed a quarter falling straight down the big one was bright going left to right of the sky uniontown pa .
I'm not going to say this is a UFO. But would you people freakin use your brain? Look at how the, "object", moves along "with" the moon as the camera shakes from the guy's hand shaking. Granted some people like to play around, but if this were a "bug", it would stay in a fixed position with the camera, not the moon itself as the moon goes off center.
Common sense people. Still not conceding that this wasn't faked, but it's definately no bug. Computer technology could easily fake it.

IF this video has not been tampered with in any way and the sightings of the "California Drone" are true, then the sudden disappearance of the UFO in this video could be the result of the "pilots" activating the "cloaking device." I use quotations for "cloaking device" because I feel like I would seem like a crazy person if I didn't, and that's what everyone else is calling the device.
This COULD BE faked easily as it is dark and only outlines need to be shown to claim something is there. I also noticed that it appears that the object is moving eratically when the camera is shaking at some points (means it could be a failed attempt to edit the video [sloppy editing]) and when the camera shakes violently toward the end, the object suddenly disappears. I tried going frame-by-frame as best I could and could find no evidence of it moving off the screen; it just vanished.

(btw chezneck, I doubt solar panels are set in a way that would cause them to appear perpendicular and in such extreme and different lengths) Second of all, I live in Kentucky (where this was supposedly filmed) and I have never seen (note that I don't say it isn't possible) a satellite move vertically (North to South) as this UFO does. If you think you can see a satellite with a fookin video camera, GO TO SCHOOL AND LEARN MORE. The Space Station is 240 miles up and only 360 feet long. Can you see a football field from 240 miles away? No. DirecTV's satellites are 20,000 MILES up! Not to mention their speed. They'd be past the moon in a second- but slowly cruising across the moon? No way.

It's not a satellite. Have you seen how fast satellites move in the sky? And even if it was geosynchronous, to see a satellite at that size you would need such a zoom that you would be looking at an Apollo lunar launch site.

So if thats about 300 miles away and it moves across the screen that slow... It means its going pretty fast. Also, the satelite appears so large because the only light being reflected off it is from the moon to us making the shadow of it much larger.
It is not a ufo it, is the satellite blocking the moon and everytime there is a lunar eclipse, some people see a satellite. I can't believe that you actually caught it on tape!
Apparently, Staggs has discussed this video at length on the openminds forum and is quite adamantly opposed to any theories about it being a cable clamp or anything like that. So I have to take his word for it. But one thing I do know is I'm sick of these odd coincidences that keep popping up wrt to ufos!
this is rediculous. Why not post a video of the same exact angle taken in broad daylight? Is it because then you'll clearly see that its a power line? You can tell from the video that its a power line because you can see an artifact of it on the lower left hand corner of the moon. Also, at the end of the vid (1:27) you can see another source of blockage just coming into view on the lower right. Probably from a tree

I live about a few miles from where that was shot, that whole month in 2007 people were saying they saw all kinds of crazy stuff, even myself.
Fleming County always had a reputation for stuff like that, project Blue Book came down when a UFO had 'landed' in a cornfield.

Sorry but you're way off.
You say we are seeing the satellite so big because of it's huge shadow cast? At that distance the satellite wouldn't even be visible as a speck.
As for its shadow?
The further an object, especially one so tiny compared to the moon (a satellite), the greater the Antumbra of the shadow.
In other words, at that distance a satellite casts no discernible shadow onto Earth.
